Rumours🚨 silent hill next project

Konami was planning to release Silent Hill 1 Remake and Silent Hill 3 Remake. The SH1 Remake was announced last year with the Bloober Team studio at the helm, and the SH3 Remake project is still in development.

Konami wishes producing Silent Hill 5, but we don't know the team or any other information.

Can't wait for Konami's next comm to clear this up.

Silent Hill 1 Remake is currently scheduled for 2027 (1 opus per year, proposed by producer Motoi Okamoto), so 2028 to focus, if the rumors are true, towards SH5. The remake of 3, I see it for 2029/2030.

RUMOR: Konami may be back to working on the original Silent Hill 5 concept which had been cancelled several times in the last 20 years, hence not commissioning Born From a Wish for SH2🚀

Here’s everything we know about SH5:

✅Extends from the Silent Hill 2 lore

✅Starring an emotionally distributed man, one of the patients of the hospital James Sunderland went to in SH2, who’s called to the town of Silent Hill

✅Starts out in a “normal” version of the town, where people go on about their daily lives

✅Things would gradually “rot away”

✅Emphasizes on “daylight horror” akin to Texas Chainsaw Massacre with horror happening in broad daylight

✅There’s also a “Dark World” described as a “very impressive” dark world

✅Monsters react differently based in darkness and light

✅Combat would’ve had a less important role than SH4

✅The game also involves scenes with therapists, beside the town gameplay moments

✅It is the darkest and most horrifying story written for Silent Hill to date, and would’ve likely been censored to pass ratings

✅Intended to launch on the then-not yet released PlayStation 3 generation

✅It was originally what Silent Hill 3 was meant to be

✅An original script by Takayoshi Sato, according to Akira Yamaoka

✅It was put aside when due to the slow yet steady sales of SH2, so Konami wanted a “rail shooter”. Team Silent were against it, and fans demanded closure for the Silent Hill 1 plot line, and so SH3 settled to be Heather’s story, a sequel to SH1

✅Went back in development by Team Silent around the year 2005

✅The project was sadly not finished, Team Silent disbanded and Konami preferred to have western devs handle the franchise

According to the website, Zbigniew Bogucki was listed after referring to western Ukraine as "Eastern Lesser Poland."

The entry claims his remarks constitute an infringement on Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as an attempt to incite hostility between Poles and Ukrainians.

Avengers: Doomsday opens in NYC on Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man’s Earth. He’s fighting Deadpool and Wolverine, who were sent there with a planet-killing bomb built by Beast to destroy Tobey’s world in order to save their own universe from an Incursion. Tobey battles Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, who manages to plant the device. Wolverine stays behind when it detonates, and both he and Tobey’s Spider-Man - along with everyone on that Earth - are killed. Deadpool escapes and returns to his own Earth, which we see in the distance. Charles Xavier watches the destroyed world below with sadness… but they had no choice.
We then cut to Tony’s funeral. Steve speaks with some of the heroes, including Ant-Man, before returning the Stones. He goes back in time and chooses to stay with Peggy. They have a son, Jim. One day, Loki visits them - this is before the Loki Season 2 finale. He tells Steve about the TVA and warns him that they will soon prune this timeline because Steve was never meant to live there or have a son. Loki offers them a way out: he can take them to a universe where they don’t exist and can live in peace - the Fantastic Four’s universe. Before leaving, Loki gives Steve a special card to contact him.
Steve and his family live there for ten years.
We then see Doctor Doom visiting Sue and Franklin. They clearly know each other. Doom says he has come to speak with Reed. He warns him about the Incursions and reveals their universe is next. He proposes a plan - but they must travel with him to Earth-616. Doom also asks Reed whether it’s possible someone from another universe is living in theirs. They scan the planet and discover an anomaly: Steve and his family.
They confront Steve, who recognizes them after living there for a decade. They explain the Incursions and ask him to come to 616 to help convince the Avengers to trust Doom’s plan. They travel there, and Steve successfully persuades the heroes to listen.
Next, they visit the X-Men’s universe - but the X-Men are hostile. They’ve survived multiple Incursions and trust no one. They assume the MCU heroes and the Fantastic Four have come to destroy them and attack.
Reed and Doom explains their solution: to build massive cannons on each Earth that will permanently separate the universes and stop the Incursions. They will split into teams and each one will go to another Earth to place a canon there.
Meanwhile, Steve tells Thor he met a Loki who is still alive. Thor asks Steve to take him to him. Using Loki’s card, they locate the TVA - but when they arrive, everyone is dead and Loki has had his heart ripped out. They realize Doom is responsible.
Steve goes back to confront Doom, who reveals his true plan: to allow the Incursions to happen so he can rebuild the Multiverse in his own image and resurrect his dead family. He takes Steve to his castle in Latveria on his Earth. There, Steve meets Doom’s followers - masked witches. One of them impersonates Peggy to manipulate him.
Doom reveals that Steve’s presence in their universe is what triggered their Incursion, because he didn’t belong there. It also led to the death of Doom’s family: Doom became obsessed with stopping the Incursion, conducting dangerous experiments - one of which failed, killing his family and leaving him disfigured, forcing him to wear the armor and mask.
As revenge, Doom kills Steve’s son in front of him.
Doom announces that the Avengers are coming, and Latveria prepares for war. The Fantastic Four, the Avengers, and the X-Men unite and march on Latveria. Thor prays to Odin, who sends an army from Valhalla to join the battle.
A massive war erupts as the Earths begin to collide. Eventually, the universes crash into each other and are destroyed - killing everyone.
Everyone except Doom.
It’s revealed that he stole Loki’s powers.

أنا اعتقادي أن الـ Story Expansion في Resident Evil Requiem ممكن تكون بداية وتهيئة للجزء العا��ر، بمعنى تكون تمهيد للجزء الجديد، وهذه فكرة أشوفها جميلة لو كابكوم سوّتها.

لكن إلى الآن ما فيه شيء أكيد عن طريقة السرد القصصي.

اللي فهمناه من قصة Resident Evil Requiem إن الحقبة القديمة، وهي حقبة Umbrella وحقبة أوزويل إي. سبنسر بشكل عام، انتهت نهائيًا.

الآن أشوف أنهم بيتجهون لاستكمال الحقبة اللي بدأت مع Resident Evil 7 و Resident Evil Village، وتكون تكملتها في الجزء العاشر وما بعده.

ومن ناحية القصة، هذا بيسهل عليهم التفرع بشكل أكبر وإضافة أفكار جديدة وغير متوقعة.

وبالنسبة لـ Resident Evil 10، أو الجزء العاشر إذا كان له اسم خاص مثل Resident Evil Village أو Resident Evil Requiem، إلى الآن ما ندري وش بيصير، خصوصًا مع التغييرات اللي صارت مؤخرًا في قرارات كابكوم وترتيبهم للسلسلة.

أنا شخصيًا ما عندي مشكلة يج��بون أشياء جديدة ونشوف شلون بيكون التوجه، لكن توقعي أن الشخصيات القديمة بتصير شخصيات قيادية أو مرجعية، بمعنى تكون في أعلى مستوى ومناصب داخل عالم Resident Evil.

وفي المقابل، أتوقع نشوف شخصيات جديدة بقصص مختلفة تقود الحقبة الجديدة، ومن خلالها نشوف الصدمات والأحداث من منظور Resident Evil الجديد.
