BREAKING: MAGA Congresswoman Lauren Boebert falls flat on her face as a federal magistrate judge recommends that a defamation lawsuit against her be allowed to proceed.

And it get's so much better...

Boebert needed the case dismissed because she cannot afford more political scandals at this point after her Beetlejuice sexual misconduct catastrophe.

The lawsuit was brought by political activist David Wheeler of North Carolina as well as PAC American Muckrakers, which he is president of.

The suit convincingly alleges that Boebert made "maliciously false statements" about Wheeler and American Muckrakers in 2022 when she was running for reelection and Wheeler published damaging information about her.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Kathryn A. Starnella was unimpressed with Boebert's attempt to dismiss the lawsuit as "meritless." The judge stated that Boebert could possibly be liable for threatening to sue American Muckrakers's donors.

It's a threat that Boebert never followed through on, since her allegations were bogus, but she could still end up on the hook for it. According to Wheeler, the organizations saw a 92% drop in donations as supporters fled out of fear of Boebert's remarks.

"Defendant’s threats to sue Plaintiffs’ sponsors and donors are unprotected because they were neither made in good faith nor in serious contemplation of litigation," wrote Judge Starnella.

"While Defendant has an interest in protecting her reputation, even through litigation, Plaintiffs’ donors and sponsors have a weightier interest in exercising their First Amendment right to engage in political speech (in the form of financial donations to political action committees) without fear of retaliation," she added.

"The Court finds no social value in allowing elected officials to silence speech they dislike by threatening gadfly journalists’ donors, who have not themselves engaged in any unlawful or tortious activity," she added.

It looks like Boebert is taking after her idol Donald Trump and could soon find herself buried beneath defamation damages just like him.
