You can’t quit on your team AND be picky about where you’re going to when you signed an 8-year contract.
Don’t sell your house in Michigan just yet, Dylan.
Oh you want out so badly that you gave us three whole teams, two of which already win all the Cups plus one with no assets left to make a decent offer? Cool, you have five years left on your contract, see you at practice.
Better hope one of those 3 teams is willing to cough up the assets, otherwise Yzerman has no need to rush.
Larkin is fully within his rights (full NTC), but Yzerman has no obligation to sell him for scraps. #LGRW
SCOOP: Trump admin is paying millions to quickly cover four enormous bronze horses with extra-thick 23.75 karat gold leaf.
The money for the rush job is coming from National Park Service. In total, I found ~$100 mil spent on new DC beautification projects

BREAKING: The proposed US-Iran peace deal includes a $300 billion reconstruction fund for Iran, per NYT.
The program is being called an international "investment fund," which the US would facilitate in the final deal.
This comes as Iran demands "reparations" to end the war.
George Washington declined to be featured on currency when he was living, fearing it would be reminiscent of a monarch.
Congress in 1866 passed the Thayer amendment, which stated "no portrait or likeness of any living person shall be engraved or placed upon any of the bonds, securities, notes, or postal currency of the United States."
This is ridiculous. Mike Johnson canceled the vote because the War Powers Resolution was obviously going to pass in the House. It already advanced in the Senate.
Mind you, we're already 20 days past the 60-day deadline mandated by law. Under the War Powers Resolution, the President "shall terminate" U.S. military involvement after 60 days UNLESS Congress declares war or passes specific authorization. No such authorization has passed.
So what does Johnson do? He postpones the vote and sends the House on recess. Pathetic.
Absolute insanity….here is Mike Johnson saying members of Congress need to be able to continue their insider trading because the yearly salary of $174K with healthcare and taxpayer funded vacations every other week is not enough for them
Oh my. The wet spot left behind by Harden was either not cleaned and/or improperly so. Dean Wade wipes out seconds later and the Pistons get a crucial wide open layup as a result.
“We have to have sympathy. We need to at least let them engage in some stock trading so they can continue to take care of their family.”
Americans are tired of watching corruption dressed up as virtue.
The line of Logan Stankoven, Taylor Hall, and Jackson Blake have 31 points combined points in 8 games.
Their combined salary is $4.88M
2 of the 3 players were acquired in trades.
No one does it better than the Canes. No one needs a pro scouting upgrade more than the Wings.
Don't know what the announcement officially is, but Ilitch Sports and the City of Detroit are making an announcement/have a press conference on Wednesday. You can surmise yourself what that means, but it's hockey related from my understanding.
On Jan. 25, the Detroit Red Wings had the most points in the Eastern Conference and had an 89.5% probability to make the playoffs.
Just an incredible collapse.
The Detroit Red Wings held a lead with 10 minutes to go and went on to lose the game 5 times this season.
4 of those games have happened since March 4th. #LGRW
(credit to Prashanth Iyer for digging this up)
Alex DeBrincat became the fourth #RedWings player over the last 20 years (since 2005-06) with 40 or more goals in a single campaign.
- Marian Hossa (40 in 2008-09)
- Henrik Zetterberg (43 in 2007-08)
- Brendan Shanahan (40 in 2005-06)
