Going into the last week on inter-divisional play, here is the remaining strength of schedule. 4/6 toughest schedules are held by current playoff teams. Itโs going to get interesting.
Here is the win-loss breakdown by TDs scored each week. The statistical anomaly fixed itself this week and it is once again more like to get a win when scoring 5 TDs vs 4 TDs in a week. Winning team score 5.16 TDs on average and losing teams score 3.3 TDs on average.
Expected win update. There is a new leader, @Artanis_DE lost this week despite scoring 90+ points to get another expected win despite a loss and @Scotsmen_Elite got their first win without an expected win to bring them both to 2.
This is the current remaining strength of schedule for the last 5 games of the season. The ranking is based on a combination of team record and points scored.
Teams that start a WR in the FLEX spot are now 3-8 on the season. @LMonsters06 got the win this week but their opponent, @CommandZ_DE, also started a WR in the FLEX spot as well.
We are now on history watch. The lowest scoring season for a team was @ColoradolaxFF in 2013 with 866.52 points (61.89/week). @CommandZ_DE currently sits at 63.44 points/week.
Oddly enough, the winning percentage of teams scoring exactly 4 TDs is higher (60%) than teams scoring exactly 5 TDs (57.14%). Of course @Scotsmen_Elite have now done that twice and lost both times.
This weeks update of scoring average by position. I included the total of categories a team has that is better than the league average. I also included an offense only category to show how many offensive positions are above average.
The @LMonsters06 got a win despite hitting below the average to go to -1 and @Oceans7Seven got back to even when they lost despite scoring over 100 points.
This weeks update of expected wins differential. The team with the highest and the lowest both added another to their total. @Scotsmen_Elite beat the league average again in a loss and @ColoradolaxFF failed to hit the league average and won bringing them to +3 and -4 respectively
There are 6 teams currently tied at 6-3 which means if you are 6-3, you could be the first seed or out of the playoffs because @VickBulldogs would actually take the 6th seed under the new playoff format despite being 5-4.
Scoring TDs is obviously very important in fantasy football. So far this season, teams that have scored at least 4 TDs in a week have won 67% of the time.
