@murraystep26506 There were a few times that season, which with the benefit of hindsight proved pivotal. One I recall was at Love St. about a month before THE Love St game. We finished with McStay up front and he got a winner in the last 5 minutes. Every bit as vital as that other game.

@JimmyJungas Hearts played 40 competitive games from August 1st til end of season. Celtic played 59. Each of those additional 19 games were consequential, involving many trips across Europe, grinding out midweek, weekend. If Hearts make any headway in Europe they will struggle in the league.
