There is even reportedly $20 million in funding to expand body camera deployment.

⁣⁠⁣Suddenly the same voices that demanded cameras are saying the cameras are a problem.

Why?

Because they claim ICE body cams could capture protesters, license plates, and on-the-ground enforcement activity.

⁣⁠⁣So let’s map the timeline:

Demand transparency →
Get body cameras →
Then demand restrictions on the cameras.

That is not policy consistency.
That is political convenience.
