🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 5: Washington state's Secretary of State weighs in 🚨

The below clip shows Danielle Reiff of DRG pitching her vision to an audience including Washington state's Secretary of State, Steve Hobbs.

She explains the red-line scenarios and ultimately a vision of creating a "cross-partisan" government in the wake of an illegitimate federal government.

Her three "democratic emergency" scenarios should be familiar by now:

· Election meltdown - which includes a widespread public loss of trust in election results
· Insurrection Act deployed against protesters
· An attempt to delay seating of legitimately elected officials post-election

If the federal government becomes illegitimate in her view because of the above, then she proposes a cross-partisan system of transitional governance. She names a cross-partisan board of governors, as well President Obama and President Bush as potential transitional leaders.

WA SoS Hobbs replies to Reiff that he has had the exact same conversation with German and Japanese officials regarding how to deal with AfD and right-wing nationalist parties. Now, to be fair, he does not want to commit because, in his words, "we're winning." But he doesn't disagree either.

Note also that here and in other recordings, "election meltdown" does not mean some sort of flashy media crisis. It means, simply, a large segment of the population doesn't believe the election results are legitimate.

🚨 BREAKING: President Trump says he heard from a Ukrainian woman that ZELENSKY is "KILLING THEIR MEN" and needs to seek peace immediately

"She said OUR MEN ARE DYING...she's talking about UKRAINE...they want to put HER in prison!"

"I want to see the WAR STOPPED."

"I want Russia and Ukraine to stop that STUPID WAR."

Ukraine has lowered its draft age and kept men 18 to 60 from leaving the country

And when a Ukrainian speaks up about it, they want her locked up?

Tyrants.

Zelensky needs to call elections or step down!

We did it.

We proved that the 515 foot boat shaped formation in the mountains of Ararat is NOT geological, but a man-made structure with organized patterns, chambers, and corridors beneath the surface.

Dr Bakhtar’s scans only show that which is NOT geological. You’re looking at official scans of Noah’s Ark.

We won’t stop until they re-write public education textbooks and completely eradicate evolution from curriculums.

THIS is where creation began anew.

🚨 TRUMP JUST DROPPED TWO MASSIVE BOMBS IN IRELAND 🇺🇸🔥
While the world is watching Iran and the midterms, President Trump took a 2-day trip to the Emerald Isle… and immediately started winning.
He looked Ireland dead in the eye and said:
“You took all of our medical companies. You FLEECED us… but that’s okay. We were like a bunch of babies. We’re not babies anymore.”
Then he went even bigger:
“A UNITED IRELAND would be a GREAT THING.”
That’s a direct break from decades of U.S. “neutrality.” The UK Prime Minister is already pushing back. The media is losing it.
Meanwhile he’s at his Doonbeg property for the Irish Open, meeting the Taoiseach and Irish President, locking in investment, and reminding everyone America First doesn’t take days off.
Golf. Deals. Straight talk. Zero apologies.
This is the energy they said was “gone.”
RT if you’re tired of America getting fleeced.
LIKE if you want more of this.

[Theron @theron_chase]

The uncomfortable part.

Samsung doesn't walk you through network optimization, cache management, or DNS settings during setup. Setup is designed to get you watching something within 5 minutes not to get the TV running at its actual potential.

The store that sold you the TV has no incentive to spend 20 minutes configuring 9 settings for you. Their job ends at delivery.

And your internet provider, who's happy to sell you a faster plan the moment you call in complaining about "buffering," has zero incentive to mention that the actual bottleneck might be a TV connected to the wrong Wi-Fi band, running two-year-old software, with a background data-collection feature quietly competing for the same bandwidth your Netflix stream needs.

Nobody along the chain Samsung, the retailer, the internet provider benefits from you fixing this for free.

Samsung sells you a newer TV in a few years when this one "feels slow." The retailer sells you a soundbar or an extender to "help." The provider upsells a bigger plan.

And the customer who just needed to switch a Wi-Fi band, turn off two background data features, update the software, clear two app caches, fix one picture setting, remove some ghost devices, and change a DNS setting pays for a plan upgrade and a $140 extender because nobody told them the fix was free.

"Your TV was never too old for this.

Your settings were never configured for your home.

And the difference between the two is 9 settings nobody in the chain from the factory, to the store, to the internet provider's call center was ever going to tell you about.

Because every setting you don't change is a new plan, a new gadget, or a new TV someone else gets to sell you."

[Theron @theron_chase]

The full picture of what 9 settings changed.

Before:

→ Connected to the slower, more congested 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band shared with 11 other devices → ACR and Viewing Information Services silently uploading data and consuming bandwidth around the clock → Software 20 months out of date, missing multiple stability and performance fixes → Two years of accumulated cache on Netflix and YouTube slowing app load times → Default Dynamic picture mode with aggressive motion smoothing distorting the image → Six ghost Bluetooth and network devices still being periodically scanned for → Bixby's microphone always listening, plus four unused pre-installed apps running background permissions → ISP's default DNS handling every single app and search request → Standby power settings running unnecessary background processes around the clock → One internet plan upgrade and one Wi-Fi extender purchased to fix a problem neither one caused

After:

→ Connected to the faster, far less congested 5 GHz band → ACR and Viewing Information Services disabled → Software fully updated to the latest version → App caches cleared, load times cut by more than 75% → Filmmaker Mode active, motion smoothing off, picture sharpened with zero cost → Ghost devices removed → Always-on listening disabled, unused background apps restricted → DNS switched to Cloudflare for faster app and search performance → Standby power activity minimized → One internet plan upgrade and one $140 extender that were never necessary

Netflix buffering: gone. App load times: 12+ seconds down to under 3. Picture quality: visibly sharper with zero picture-quality settings touched. Boot-up time: 40 seconds down to under 5.

Nine settings. Zero dollars. About 20 minutes.

A TV that had been quietly running on factory defaults for two years, blamed for being "old" and "slow," finally configured for the household it was actually sitting in.

[Theron @theron_chase]

Setting 9: He turned off Auto Power and Auto Backlight Adjustment features that were quietly running the TV's processor in a partial background state even when it appeared to be off.

"Modern smart TVs are rarely fully 'off' the way an old CRT television used to be the moment you hit the power button. Many models stay in a low-power standby state specifically to enable instant-on features, voice wake commands, and background software updates which means a portion of the TV's processing is technically active around the clock, even overnight.

Combined with an aging thermal environment inside a TV that's been running some background load 24/7 for two or three years straight, this can contribute to the general 'this TV just feels sluggish now' sensation people chalk up to age.

He adjusted the standby and auto-power settings under Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving to reduce unnecessary background activity while the TV isn't in use, and disabled automatic backlight adjustment that was inconsistently dimming the picture based on a light sensor nobody in the household had ever calibrated or checked.

The TV that used to take nearly 40 seconds to fully boot up and connect now powers on and reaches a usable screen in under 5."

[Theron @theron_chase]

Setting 8: He switched the TV's DNS settings from the automatic ISP-assigned default to a faster public DNS, speeding up how quickly every app and every search resolves.

"Just like a router or a phone, a smart TV uses DNS to translate app server addresses into connections it can actually use, every single time you open an app, search for a show, or load a new page inside an app like YouTube.

The default DNS assigned automatically by most home routers, which is usually just passed straight through from the internet provider, is often measurably slower than public alternatives built specifically for speed.

He went into Settings > General > Network > Network Status > IP Settings, switched from Auto to Manual, and set the DNS servers to Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 as primary and Google's 8.8.8.8 as secondary.

App searches, app launches, and the initial 'looking for the fastest server' delay you get right when you open Netflix or YouTube all shortened noticeably. Not because the internet plan got faster because the address lookup step happening before every single connection got faster."

[Theron @theron_chase]

Setting 7: He turned off Bixby's always-listening voice activation and background app permissions for apps the family never uses.

"Samsung TVs, like most smart TVs now, ship with a built-in voice assistant listening for a wake word through the remote's microphone by default. Most people never activate it intentionally, never say the wake word on purpose, and have no idea it's running.

Beyond the privacy question, this is another constantly-active background process a microphone listener plus a cloud connection ready to process a voice command at any moment running continuously whether you use it or not.

He went to Settings > General > Voice > Voice Assistant and disabled always-on listening, keeping voice control available only through a button-press on the remote instead of constant passive listening.

He also went into Settings > Apps and disabled background data and auto-run permissions for four pre-installed apps the family had never once opened a shopping app, a fitness app, a news app, and a game demo app that came pre-loaded and had been quietly allowed to run background processes since day one."

[Theron @theron_chase]

Setting 6: He checked Connected Devices and removed six phantom Bluetooth and network device pairings that were no longer in use but were still being periodically scanned for.

"Over years of use, TVs accumulate paired devices the same way phones do a soundbar you replaced, a game controller you don't use anymore, a previous owner's phone if the TV was bought used or came from a rental property, a smart home hub you unplugged months ago.

Every paired device the TV still recognizes gets periodically scanned for and reconnection-attempted, using processing cycles and occasionally interfering with the active connections you actually use.

He went into Settings > General > External Device Manager > Device Connect Manager and removed everything that wasn't the current soundbar and the one game console still connected.

Six ghost devices removed. Not a massive individual impact, but part of the same pattern as everything else on this list: small, invisible background processes accumulating over years, none of them individually the whole problem, all of them together adding up to a TV that 'feels old' when it's actually just never been cleaned up."

[Theron @theron_chase]

Setting 5: He disabled Auto Motion Plus's most aggressive interpolation setting and switched from the TV's default "Dynamic" picture mode to "Movie" or "Filmmaker Mode" instantly sharpening the picture without touching brightness or contrast at all.

"This isn't a network fix, but it's the single most common complaint I hear that people assume is a hardware or age problem, when it's a settings problem from day one.

TVs ship in Dynamic or Vivid picture mode by default maximum brightness, oversaturated colors, and aggressive motion smoothing because that combination looks eye-catching under bright showroom lighting standing next to 40 other TVs. It's built to win a side-by-side comparison in a store, not to look natural in a living room.

Motion smoothing specifically Samsung calls it Auto Motion Plus inserts artificially generated frames between the real ones to make motion look smoother. It's the reason movies can look like they were shot on a soap opera set instead of film. Most people have never consciously noticed this is happening; they just sense something looks 'off' or 'cheap' without knowing why.

He switched the picture mode to Filmmaker Mode, which disables motion smoothing automatically and calibrates for the content's original intended look, under Settings > Picture > Picture Mode.

The 'the picture looks so much better now' reaction is almost always this exact change. Zero cost. Ninety seconds."

[Theron @theron_chase]

Setting 4: He cleared the cache on the Netflix and YouTube apps specifically a maintenance step that exists on every smart TV app but that virtually nobody ever performs.

"Streaming apps store temporary data locally on the TV to load faster thumbnails, previously viewed content info, partial download buffers. Over months and years of daily use, this cached data accumulates, sometimes becomes partially corrupted, and instead of helping the app load faster, starts actively slowing it down.

This is the single most common cause of 'this one specific app is slow but everything else is fine' complaints, and it has nothing to do with your internet speed at all.

He went to Settings > Apps, selected Netflix, and cleared its cache and data. Did the same for YouTube.

App load time for Netflix, timed before and after: 12.4 seconds down to 2.8 seconds.

Nothing about the internet connection changed in this specific step. The app itself had simply been carrying two years of accumulated temporary data it never needed to keep."

[Theron @theron_chase]

Setting 3: He checked for a pending software update and found the TV was running firmware from over 20 months earlier, missing multiple performance and app-compatibility fixes.

"Smart TVs don't nag you to update the way your phone does. There's usually no red notification badge. No popup demanding attention. The update sits quietly available in a menu, waiting for someone to go looking for it.

This TV was two full major updates behind. Twenty months of accumulated fixes improvements to app loading speed, memory management, Wi-Fi connection stability, and compatibility patches for apps like Netflix and YouTube that update their own software constantly sitting unapplied.

He went to Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now.

The update took about 14 minutes to download and install.

Individually, most of what's inside a firmware update is invisible. Combined, twenty months of accumulated performance and stability fixes is often the single biggest factor in whether a two or three-year-old smart TV still 'feels' fast or has quietly become sluggish over time and almost nobody checks."

[Theron @theron_chase]

Setting 2: He turned off Viewing Information Services and ACR (Automatic Content Recognition) the background data collection constantly running while the TV analyzes everything on screen and phones that data home.

"Samsung Smart TVs, like most smart TVs today, run a feature that continuously analyzes what's on your screen frame by frame to build viewing data used for advertising and analytics. It runs in the background, silently, the entire time your TV is on, regardless of what input you're using.

This isn't a rumor. It's disclosed, technically, buried in a privacy settings menu almost nobody opens. And it's running constantly, using a steady trickle of your bandwidth and processing power to upload viewing data, even while you're trying to stream something that needs every bit of that bandwidth for itself.

He went into Settings > General > Terms & Privacy (sometimes under Support > Terms & Policy depending on model) and turned off Viewing Information Services and Interest-Based Advertisement.

Beyond the privacy benefit which matters on its own this freed up a continuous background process that had been quietly competing with Netflix, YouTube, and every other app for the same limited bandwidth and processing power, all day, every day, whether the TV was actively being watched or just sitting on."

[Theron @theron_chase]

Setting 1: He switched the TV from the crowded 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band to the much faster, much less congested 5 GHz band it had never been connected to.

"Most home routers broadcast two separate Wi-Fi signals: 2.4 GHz, which travels farther but is slower and shared by nearly every smart device in the house thermostats, doorbells, printers, smart plugs and 5 GHz, which is dramatically faster but has a shorter range.

When this TV was first set up two years ago, whoever connected it to Wi-Fi picked whichever network name showed up first and looked familiar. It landed on 2.4 GHz. It had been streaming 4K content over the slower, more congested band for two full years.

He checked the router and found 11 other devices also sharing that same 2.4 GHz band smart plugs, a video doorbell, two phones, a laptop, a thermostat.

He switched the TV's Wi-Fi connection to the 5 GHz network instead.

The change took about 90 seconds inside Settings > General > Network > Network Status > Wi-Fi.

A 4K stream that had been intermittently dropping to a lower resolution mid-show, invisibly, without any obvious buffering icon, suddenly had more than enough dedicated bandwidth to hold peak quality the entire time.

[Theron @theron_chase]

He started by explaining something almost nobody thinks about, because a TV feels like a "watch it and forget it" appliance instead of a connected computer sitting in the living room.

"Your phone gets a software update notification. Your laptop nags you to restart and update. Your TV just... sits there. Silently falling behind.

Smart TVs are full computers running an operating system, connecting to your network, streaming video, running background processes, and communicating with dozens of servers all while looking like a simple appliance you plug in once and never think about again.

The out-of-box network configuration on a Samsung Smart TV is built to connect successfully in a demo environment, a warehouse, a delivery truck's test bench, and pretty much any home network in the world without generating a support call.

It is not built to run optimally on your specific router, your specific internet speed, or your specific household's actual usage pattern.

'Connects to Wi-Fi' and 'streams flawlessly on your Wi-Fi' are two completely different standards. Your TV cleared the first bar the moment you set it up. Nobody not Samsung, not the store, not the delivery person ever helped it clear the second one."
