The Bad Bunny halftime show was the worst entertainment performance in Super Bowl history.
Woke. Cringe. Unintelligible. Foreign. Boring. Derivative. Preachy. Creatively bankrupt.
Worst of all: No songs you can even sing along to — because no songs were in *our* language.
Football is an American sport. The NFL spit in the face of their fans and our nation. This is an absolute humiliation for the NFL.
In contrast, the TPUSA halftime show was just feel-good banger after banger from American artists who love this country and who football fans can relate with.
It felt like America. Total cultural victory.
Legitimately so proud of the @TPUSA family tonight.
Charlie is smiling from heaven 🇺🇸
Having Bad Bunny do the Super Bowl halftime show ENTIRELY in Spanish, in the United States is like playing the national anthem in Chinese at the World Series or replacing hot dogs on the 4th of July with tofu. It’s just not right. @NFL disrespected the fans and the country.
Congrats Seattle. Proved that the NFC Championship game was in fact the Super Bowl. We all knew it and it’s why being a #Rams fan right now stings. Back to back years of losing to the Super Bowl champ.
Stafford is my favorite QB ever and it isn't even close.
I'm going to cry grown man tears the way he retires.
I just wish him and Sean McVay got more time together.
"Only 1 pro bowl" Now has 3
"No all-pros" Has as many 1st Teams as Drew Brees
"Never led the league in any category" Led league in
Yards and TD passes. (multiple 2nds and 3rds)
"Can't win a playoff game" 7 playoff wins since 2022
"Can't win a SB" 1 SB win
"No MVP" 99% sure he wins MVP
Can't win a playoff game without CK, AD, VM, JR (3 Playoff wins since they left.)
Matthew Stafford
Marked it. Been following this man’s career for too long. I love Stafford but I know how next year will go. 6-11 Rams fall totally flat, Stafford banged up misses games, Adam’s and Puka hurt. Stafford retires basically going out as he would’ve with the lions
Matthew Stafford on the Rams heartbreaking loss, what he could have done different, that incomplete pass on 4th and 4 from the 6, and if he’s coming back next year. #Rams
With more and more situations subject to review, it's inexcusable for replay to not be available to fix a missed facemask foul -- like the one that happened on Sunday in Seattle. https://t.co/yaKW3OApqx
i have to go to bed, but here are my final thoughts, good and bad, for tonight on the rams -
it hurts because i truly believe this team would have won the super bowl if they advanced. it hurts because matthew stafford’s mvp season doesn’t end with the lombardi, when it easily could have.
and it hurts because the rams simply weren’t good enough to win tonight.
the rams ignored the holes in their secondary all season. they collapsed offensively to close out first halves and in fourth quarters of games, blowing leads. their offensive game plan was a rollercoaster of emotions - never consistent, as entertaining as it was. the special teams was one of the worst in the league, and the rams didn’t try to address it until 3/4th of the way through the season.
the rams have no one to blame but themselves.
but nevertheless… i’m proud of this team. this team has stars. this team has guts. this team has resilience. this team willed it’s way to the nfc championship in the toughest division in football, with a tough schedule, and they were a few botched plays away from going to the big show.
there is much to be addressed by the rams if they want to make a serious run next season. a lot of that is contingent on #9 still playing, and the rams willingness to fill the holes they ignored this season.
i’m hoping they do.
anyways, thank you all for being awesome this season and for this community we’ve all built together. we’ll talk more tomorrow.
go rams 💙💛
I mean...you can hope to 'run it back' next year.
...but Stafford and Adams will be another year older. Can't guarantee health everywhere on the roster.
This was their best chance.
CONGRATULATIONS TO #NFL REF CLAY MARTIN AND THE SEATTLE #SEAHAWKS ON THE PLAYOFF WIN TONIGHT AGAINST THE LA #RAMS.
One of the worst officiated games of the season.
So the play before the Seattle DB grabbed Adams by the hair before the ball was in the air. Next play there’s a face mask on Stafford that was missed. Ok the.
Right now, I'm just sick.
The Rams had a really good shot this year. You had to get through Sam Darnold to give Matthew Stafford another shot at the Super Bowl and you came up short because of ignorance.
Everybody saw the holes that were ignored.
These seasons are rare.
