Volunteer-led non-profit provides scholarships to graduating seniors of Ankeny Community School District.

ADFS scholarship checks are going out today! In total, there will be 128 scholarships totaling $74,534 going to institutions where scholarship recipients will pursue postsecondary education or training; then the scholarships are applied to their costs. Congrats! #ADFSscholarships

Seniors - check the mail! Scholarship winners should be receiving, or already have received, a letter! Congratulations to all seniors who have been awarded a scholarship and those who took the time to fill out an application.

How soon can current juniors start the application process? NOW! Even freshmen and sophomores can create an account. The ADFS application is a great way to keep track of accomplishments and awards thats you have over the years, and everything saves to your account!

Happy Money Winner Monday! Today, meet Erin Gibson. Using her Ankeny DFS scholarship, she is studying to become a nurse at DMACC. She’s on track to get through college debt free as well!

Happy Money Winner Monday! For our first MWM, we are highlighting Sydney Jorgensen. With her scholarship that she received in 2020, she is majoring in biology at TCU. She is also an accomplished student athlete with big goals ahead of her!
