@MccahillMi9674@FenianOcatholic@CelticGossip Of course we could have. As a starting point the CEO wouldn't have their hands tied and would could maybe get the transfers over the line before a qualifier
@NeilClark66 To be quite honest the state pension will likely disappear in the next couple of decades. The decision a few years ago to make pension contribution mandatory in employment has set the stage for this. I am resigned to not receiving a meaningful state pension if any at all
@robprogressive I am not quite sure what your agenda is in respect to this but it needs to stop now. It is fucking boring and materially incorrect. Even if the numbers stack up as you suggest you have used the outlier example rather than a standard case.
@GeorgeMcCannX So the 5k you used as an extremely example would include for multiple disabled children I assume.
How would you expect a family to care for these children if they had to work full time as you imply?
We function as a society and the point is to support those who need it.
@IkaFerrerGotic For those who call it a shit hole, what is your solution?
Labour almost bankrupted the city council due to its misogynistic pay policy.
No one wants to pay additional council tax to resolve the issues.
The city needs investment but it needs to come from somewhere.
@DrTpT1972 @SaulStaniforth@schneiderhome Death to the IDF does not inherently mean that you are calling for the death of Jewsih people. It is simply calling for the end to an army hell bent on ethnic cleansing and zionist expansionism. The lazy conflation is extremely dangerous.
I think it is fairly clear the point Marina was trying to make. The deliberate conflation between Israeli Policy and Jewish Identity has played a significant part in the rise of Anti Semitism in the UK, failure to acknowledge this will ensure the issue will never be resolved and attacks will likely continue. The best thing the UK Government could do would be to call out the actions of Bibi and his genocidal war cabinet.
@CollinRugg Is the shooter some kind of magician? Where on earth has he pulled the shotgun from that quickly that the dog handler would have been unable to see it?
@Freeheel63@MPIainDS Those who are in receipt of the figures suggested in the article will likely have significant disabilities. How the fuck can they work on a farm?? Absolute lunacy
Absolute nonsense again in an attempt to paint those on benefits as the cause of the country's issues. You know fine well there is a cap on benefits for the majority of folk who claim them. Those who are exempt face significantly more challenges managing disabilities on a daily basis or raising children with disabilities. Doing so carries significant additional costs. To be clear almost all of those who claim PIP or who are unable to work would much rather they had their health. The suggestion that a life in need of benefits is to be envied in some way is way off the mark
This is not correct. The benefit cap is 2110 per month for a couple. Housing benefit is not a separate component. If you receive HB your UC is reduced accordingly.
In this specific example it is highly unlikely that 3 kids would require full time childcare if the parents are earning 10k combined. They would be available to take care of the children.
No question there are some areas that probably need reform but you are being disingenuous at best here.
