Done. Finished it. I think it's titled "A Sudden Loss of Magic". Took the longest time for me to write, but I think it may also be my best.

Now I'm just waiting on my artist to finish the cover and time to rock and roll.

The Three Kingdoms. It's a D&D (3.5e) Campaign World I started making when I was like 16. This was in the early 2000's.

Well there's two MCs. One of them, her role model is probably her dead friend. How to survive in the underclass.

Editing this fucking WIP more. I've got to rewrite about 50% of this thing now, I had to change so much to make my stupid convoluted motivations make any damn sense.

I had this whole bullshit with reveal after reveal and it was just confusing.

There were some terrible inns in Orthendine, rat-filled and lice-ridden, where you wouldn't send your most unwelcome relative to stay after an unannounced visit. This inn made those places look like palaces.

4. There's two main characters.

One of them just wants to hide in the magic academy tower and forget her crimes. To do so, she has to pretend to be a wizard.

The other is trying to find her.

Wife and kid 1 are in Japan for the next week. This means lots of writing in between caring for kids 2 and 3.

3. I write in bed. I rarely listen to music while I do, but if I am it's soft instrumental.

I spend a lot of time staring at the screen wondering what to write, then a burst of frantic activity followed by another pause.
