It was a pleasure to be at Dunbar Grammar School yesterday to see their dinner club Christmas lunch in action.

Pupils put on weekly meals for elderly members of the community, helping to form intergenerational friendships.

Our overall winner was Erin in S1. She baked and decorated a fabulous cake inspired by Germany. Her attention to detail was awesome and the cake tasted like the flavours of Germany 🇩🇪I hope she enjoys her voucher prize, it is well deserved #RISE @DGSModLang

Mr Offer is leading our first #BlackHistoryMonth2023 assemblies this week. He is sharing the story of Herbert Morris a 17 year old from Jamaica who served and sadly lost his life in the First World War. @DGS_RRS
