@autosport @NobleF1 @FilipCleeren The thing is if they did do an in lap how my fuel would GR burn doing that? 1kg? Then the question would be are you able to pick up 2.5kg of pick up on an in lap.
Truth is they cut it too fine and relied too heavily on the drivers saving fuel over the course of the race.

There's a lot of people in Motorsport that never look out of the bubble they work in.

Yea been there, I know how it works too.
There a lot of people jumping from event to event.

As a friendly suggestion I would say look at the sportcar, gt drivers and teams that are out weekend after weekend(with mid week test) doing multiple championships some might say that's gruelling?

I don't know your background, you might well have been bouncing around circuit to circuit in other formulas for years on a daily basis pulling 12-15 hours days for years.
