“My coming in front of the camera was an accident. I was a writer. They pressured me to come in front of the camera because I was making people laugh behind the camera.”
- Nollywood veteran, Nkem Owoh
I attended a friend’s birthday party on Friday.
Everything was going smoothly until it was time to spray her money.
I brought out my crisp ₦200 new notes, ₦20,000 in total.
As I was happily spraying them into the basket, I caught her giving the notes a look of pure disdain.
Omo, the moment someone else came forward with ₦500 and ₦1,000 notes, her whole face lit up. Smiles everywhere.
Energy changed instantly.
That’s how my spraying ended abruptly. I quietly put together the remaining money and returned to my seat.
But I didn’t get angry and leave immediately o.
I sat down, and made sure I sampled every available food before finally leaving in annoyance. 😩😂
This video is a call for help.
My mum is battling with stroke, and it is slowly taking her life. She needs urgent medical funds to stay alive, and I cannot do this alone anymore. Please, if you have it in your heart to help or retweet this to someone who can, I beg of you 🤲🏻🙏

People who do GRWM to work have TIME, Real time. Every time I wake up for work, I have less than 30 mins to be ready, and every second is accounted for. The day I add "good morning guys" to my morning routine is the day I'm officially unemployed.
“I didn’t bring you people here to enjoy oo, I brought you here to work for me”
I was only 12 years old and my sister 9.
Whenever I remember this, I tell myself “it’s either my kids stay with me or I don’t give birth to them at all”.
I went to a pharmacy to check my blood pressure yesterday.
While waiting, I met a woman who was also there to check hers. I stood by until it was my turn.
The moment her reading came out, the pharmacist shouted:
“Madam, your BP is 190/170!” What happened?
Her response broke my heart 💔
She said she had been out of her medication for a week because she couldn’t afford to buy.
Her medication, Cardiovas, cost just ₦1,800 which is less than $2. Yet, she could not afford it.
I immediately asked the pharmacist to give her the drugs and I paid for them.
As I sat in my car afterward, I couldn’t hold back my tears.
You're squatting with me. I went to work and returned tired and exhausted, only to receive a text from you saying that your boyfriend is around and that I shouldn't come home yet. Is it my apartment or your boyfriend's apartment?
@OurFavOnlineDoc She left for ilorin from Akure on Monday and we haven't been able to reach her since then.
This night her Captors called the family and were demanding for 40 million naira
SOS!!!!

Reported demands made by the terrorists who kidnapped children and teachers in Oyo state:
1. ₦1 billion to be paid into an account in the Benin Republic.
2. Release of terrorists currently held in Agodi and Abolongo Prisons.
3. Two Hilux vehicles.
4. Amendment of Oyo State laws to enforce and introduce sharia law.
For those of you who continue to make excuses for terrorists, who refer to terrorists as your brothers and who applaud this lunatic government when they release these barbaric murderers back into society, please be aware that you will eventually be ruined by this same satanic ideology you endorse.
My neighbour's children had been home for a month.
I asked their mum why.
She said,
"Money matter."
"How much is the school fees?" I asked.
"₦16,000 each. Three children."
I sent ₦50,000 immediately.
A few days later, the husband noticed the children had resumed school and asked his wife how.
She told him I paid the fees.
The man said, "Since she has taken over my responsibility, she should continue o."
Omor, since that day, this man has been giving me attitude everywhere he sees me.
Wife say make I give him the attitude back. 🧐
