Randomly remembered an outreach we went for where we offered free medical checks, HIV testing, malaria tests and medications.

A woman came for a malaria test, but the kits were exhausted. We had only HIV test kits left, so she happily opted to test for HIV instead.

We pricked her finger, waited a few minutes, and the result came out reactive.

We knew she had no idea what she was about to discover.

I handed the kit to the doctor, packed my bags and left. I could already smell the drama that was coming but then my shift was over.
