Football asks clubs, players and supporters to respect every decision. The least they should expect is that football's governing bodies are held to the very same standard. One decision can damage years of trust. No trust= no integrity. Without integrity, there is no game.
Football cannot ask clubs, players and supporters to trust the game 𝗶𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.
Rules must apply 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆. Decisions must be 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁. Processes must be transparent.
The recent events surrounding @FIFAcom disciplinary decision at the @FIFAWorldCup have raised legitimate concerns about these fundamental principles.
When those principles are undermined, it is not just one decision that is affected — it is the credibility of the entire competition.
Integrity is not optional. It is the foundation of football. Without good governance, there can be no sporting integrity.

The Super League didn’t die — it went internal. Power in European football is consolidating fast:
a few clubs decide, the rest are along for the ride. “Inclusion” without influence isn’t reform.
If we ignore this, the gap becomes permanent.

Player mobility creates value in European football — but how is that value redistributed?
This piece explores the growing “solidarity gap” and potential solutions, including success-based development rewards.

I’m always surprised by how many people believe there can be some accountability at FIFA… There isn’t (as someone once told me it’s a week of bad press and life goes on). They should instead think of how to make their politicians accountable for allowing this to go on.
Standing in full support of @VincentKompany powerful statement against racial abuse in football! 💪 Your courage to speak out is an inspiration to many. Let's keep pushing for change!

Yesterday's article by @MiguelDelaney in @Independent highlights an issue that deserves scrutiny:
UEFA has been 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 €𝟮𝟱𝗺 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 to fund the ECA/EFC.
The key question is 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 – how much is deducted from clubs, how is it calculated, and were clubs clearly informed?
