I'm being attacked in various parts of the media today for receiving money from X. I would like to invite those same journalists to Great Yarmouth to see how my entire net MP salary is given to local charities in our community.

- Great Yarmouth Pathway Cafe & Support Centre (food bank)
- Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, ensuring everyone could access a poppy for free.
- Great Yarmouth Sea Cadets
- East Coast Truckers (helping disabled children)
- Great Yarmouth Minister (repairing a church window)
- St Elizabeth Hospice
- Centre 81 Dementia Programme
- Louise Hamilton Trust (end of life care)
- Local football club
- A Heart2Heart lifesaving defibrillator

Each and every month this money is donated - I made a promise during the election, and I am keeping that promise.

I am NOT in politics for the money.

If I wanted to increase my bank balance? TRUST ME - I would not be doing this.

Roughly £100k donated since the election, and I will continue to do so. As promised to my constituents.

If those journalists want to take up the offer and see how that money has been spent, they know where to find me.

At least 30 police armed and ambulances have closed off a road in Truro just now around by Calenick Street, near the Central Grill around the Burger King
Devon and Cornwall police have not commented as yet what's happening .
Truro is a beautiful holiday hotspot for many and never do you hear of incidents like this , but like the rest of the country it seems to be having problems .
