To mark the end of Mr Millerβs final day our whole school showed their appreciation of an outstanding Rector. We will miss you! Happy Retirement πππβ€οΈπ @DennyHighSchool#prideindennyhigh
In what has been one of the most challenging days for the school, I was witness to staff across the school supporting pupils and colleagues in a whole range of ways. A genuine school community with a real focus on supporting one another #prideindennyhigh
Congrats to Logan Tait-Curtis who is now a published writer. Check out his article below on climate change and the cars we drive. #pulitzer https://t.co/bRLMcNHrQX
Team building, problem solving, inclusion, patience and kindness were some of the other skills discussed and used over the 9 weeks.
They should all be very proud of what they have achieved.
Some of our S2 pupils have been learning valuable skills over the last 9 weeks, whilst on our Outdoor Education Programme. Having the chance to take part in activities such as canoeing, biking, hiking, beach exploring and rock climbing.
These activities have given the pupils a chance to work on their confidence, self esteem, to learn about respect for themselves, others around them and the environment.
