Some background on SKILLS. This is DHD 2nd year. We have 3 competing. Tanner Keene, Laura Hogan, and Connor Foltz. 4 other high schools are competing. The 1st place finisher qualifies for nationals in Louisville kentucy.

At district level a few months we had a student place 2nd, 10th, and 15th. Point separation was less than 50 (over 1000 possible points) our 2nd place finisher was 3 points behind 1st, so today will be monumental.

As we wait to be debriefed for the competition maybe the coolest moment today was at lunch. The Mcdonalds once all of our students ordered, she said these were the 8 most polite kids she has interacted with in a long time!!
