@_JordanDecker Fowler, Reinbacher, 2027 1st, 2028 1st and Dach.
Steep price?
Habs fans might think so but Blue Jackets fans would find underwhelming.
Play along…..include your trade offer!
@mndamico@StarrandDamico Marco - in terms of player value….how much is Dach worth in terms of draft capital?
My personal opinion is something along the lines of another player needing a change of scenery as well.
Possibly a Kappo Kakko for Kirby Dach straight up? Similar age, high draft pick, etc
@mndamico You have to give to get but there’s potential in time for an impact player in Pickford. Could be an elite PP option with passers like Demidov and Hutson.
That shot is SUPER impressive.
@grantmccagg Rank them in order of suitable 2 C’s in Montreal.
Larkin, Thomas, Hischier, McTavish and Trocheck?
I’ll start,
1) Thomas
2) Larkin
3) Hischier
4) Trocheck
5) McTavish
Oddly enough - it’s the same order in terms of most cost acquisition price.
@MOBeaudoin1 Marc - interesting post to get people thinking.
Personally, I could see the Habs using their retention slots on Gallagher and especially Montembault. They have three to use this offseason.
Gally at $3.25m and Monty at $1.75 in particular would be a worthy gamble for a team.
@mndamico marco….need some insight please
Under a minute left in the second with a two goal lead playing 4 on 4 and last change and Marty has Struble out there …. Can’t happen.
Newhook as well???
Marty needs to answer to that.
Brutal coaching error!

@StuCowan1 Interesting article. Unfortunately in my opinion he stays for next season.
1) Zero market for Gallagher even at 50% retained. That’s still a $3.25 million cap hit for an even older Gallagher.
2) Hughes won’t extend the cap hit an extra year by buying him out.
