@PorscheGB I wonder if you could help. I have had a taycan bike rack on order (and paid for) for many months and delivery keeps being pushed back month after month. Car arrived in Nov, still no rack. Do you have any explanation?
@greateranglia severe overcrowding on the 7:09 from Chelmsford with all seats taken and standing all the way down the down the aisles. It really needs to be a full length train and not 5 coaches or more trains at this peak time.
@greateranglia is there any plan to run longer trains as passenger numbers pick up, if so when? 7:09 from Chelmsford is consistently close to full with many standing and only 5 carriages. Thx
@greateranglia we need more trains from Chelmsford, almost full to standing on 7:12 after leaving station. Time to resume a normal or near normal peak timetable, not 4 trains of 8 carriages per hour.
@greateranglia Hi Emily, thank you. To clarify, my focus is peak 7am-8am from Chelmsford. There are now 4 trains of 8, used to be at least 8 trains of 12. They are getting v busy as a result....
@greateranglia given trains are becoming increasingly busy, when do you plan to increase frequency from Chelmsford in the morning, currently less than half pre covid levels? Thanks
@greateranglia Chelmsford needs more trains. Only 4 an hour with only 8 coaches is a fraction of normal service which was 10+ of 12 coaches - they are getting so busy that it is impossible to socially distance at all.
@greateranglia Thank you. Two people turned right into standard, saw there were no seats, and then walked back out into first class on the left. I obv didn't do a ticket check but seems quite certain. This instance was the 7:09, but i travel normally anytime between 6:54 and 7:35
@greateranglia the first class sections on Chelmsford trains are becoming a reserved section for ticket dodgers which is annoying when paying 6.5k p.a. especially if have to stand. What has happened to ticket inspectors?! Not seen one in 6 months plus.
@greateranglia trains keep arriving at Chelmsford with no 1st class at front & no warning (3 times this week). Given many buy the ticket due to mobility (age or injury) this isn't good enough especially considering cost Β£6k pa. Running the length of the platform is not an option!
@greateranglia Is this a confirmed position? Definitely no first class when the new trains arrive? I presume this means standard class pricing will increase to preserve average ticket income (the number of passengers will be unchanged)
@greateranglia I heard a rumour that 1st class is soon to be abolished on Chelmsford trains and that you have written to ticket holders? Is this correct as I commute every day 1st class season and have not received any correspondence but see this as very bad news
@greateranglia I understand the limited service this week is outside your control but when one of the few trains from Chelmsford turns up with only 8 coaches, that is really not on
@remarkablepaper I believe I placed an order last night but have not received an email receipt in either inbox or junk. I wonder if you could check the order has been placed and, if so, send me an email reciept? Sorry, I could not find a number or email online
