@ConnorVicaryPE Take a look at Plicker as a nice quick 'learning climate' tool. Works great with a phone or iPad. Really smart way of getting a feel for the position of a group of learners going forward. Plus it's free.
I'm a Principal of a large IB continuum school.
But I still have a teaching timetable and also do do cover for absent colleagues. I think that at times, Principals are far too distant from the 'coal face' of teaching and learning.
We all have to remember where we came from.

Creates a new dynamic and helped the teacher to gather data quickly and easily. Teachers at DIAB have 3 key focii for observations: 1. Relationships, 2: Differentiation and 3: Effective Assessment.
The expressive Arts will come roaring back once we can all manage the new protocols. Teachers don't need to be asked twice to get the passion back for their subject.

The long summer holiday is undoubtedly one of the 'perks' of being a teacher.
However, I'm really looking forward to seeing the staff tomorrow. It marks the start of our orientation week and the beginning of our 2021-22 learning journey.
