In Istanbul, some friends were singing an old Turkish song “Aman Doktor” in a restaurant.
A Greek man walks up to the table and starts singing the same song in Greek (Greeks and Turks share many old folk songs)
At the end The 2 men showed great respect to eachother🇹🇷🇬🇷❤️
wow
Hello everyone! ❤️
I want to thank each and every one of you for all your beautiful comments and for making me feel such incredible emotions. It was truly a very special evening for me, one I will never forget.
Some of you have been asking how I managed to make it happen. Honestly, I was just lucky enough to meet the right people! It all happened thanks to a simple request from my friend and me.
Tasos and Erica, from Argiros’ team, were the real masterminds behind this beautiful moment, and of course, the great artist himself, Konstantinos Argiros! I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.
Konstantinos, we are truly grateful for the emotions you gave us. You are not only a great artist but also a man with an incredibly big heart! ❤️
P.S. I haven’t forgotten your promise to come to my wedding! 🤣 My girlfriend personally heard you say it, so there are witnesses! 😂❤️ @ArgirosKonstant
This cuck drools at Greeks mixing with Turks, when it only happens in the diaspora and only some cringe cases exist.
This woman stopped being Greek now and we always had the word “τουρκεψε” to describe such traitors.
Also East Badman is a Turk pretending to be a Greek.
@HellenicEchoes Listen Israeli bot. You’re not fooling everyone. Stop projecting your own undercover mission on me. I’m just a Greek who likes to build bridges. You are an Israeli bot. It’s been established.
You got it. I was explaining myself over and over like 6 years ago. I started to realize people who were rabid with hate for Turks didn’t give af about any context, nuance or gray area. It got to the point where there started to piss me off so much I enjoyed watching the Turkish trolls give them shit lol. But yeah anyway I’m people over politics. I’m all about building bridges. I appreciate you genuinely being inquisitive instead of just blindly believing in a Turk lol.
Reminder that this guy is a Turk posing as Greek.
There are many such cases and he is probably the most professional one.
They talk about Israeli bots, while X is full with Turks posing as whatever nationality.
@DennisN It’s because it’s pushing out locals before our eyes. Greek and Turkish nationalism did the same but we didn’t have social media then so it was harder to be internationally outraged.
I spent years of my childhood in Greece and visited regularly until my 30s, although less frequently since moving to the US. I was born and raised in London.
My views differ from the Greeks on here, not necessarily Greeks in general. A lot of the Greek diaspora on X seem to be pro-junta conservatives, nationalists, or people who swallow whatever the media tells them. The average Greek I’ve encountered in Athens is far more open-minded.
And let’s not forget, Greeks have famously disagreed with each other throughout history. From the ancient city-states to modern Greek politics, disagreement and political division are practically Greek traditions. The fact that you seem to think Greeks should all share the same opinions shows a rather poor understanding of Greek culture and history.
My Greek is broken these days. I spoke it much better as a child, and whenever I return to Greece, it gradually comes back. I’m culturally Greek Orthodox but agnostic in my beliefs.
As for Erdoğan, I don’t think he’s a good leader, and I dislike Turkish nationalism. But let’s not pretend Greece doesn’t have its own nationalism and political problems. The main difference is that Greece is a freer society.
It always makes me laugh when people demand that I publicly condemn Erdoğan as though I’m some important politician whose statement the world is waiting for. His values are incompatible with mine. I don’t like him. I also don’t like Mitsotakis, particularly his government’s support for Israel despite its actions in Gaza, which I consider genocide.
Of course the Turkish government’s actions deserve criticism and condemnation. But so do the Greek government’s when warranted. I don’t believe criticism should depend on which flag someone happens to wave.
I don’t see being Greek as an obligation to defend Greece unconditionally or treat Turks as enemies. I can be proud of my heritage without subscribing to nationalism.
She’s so insanely lucky because she was literally two seconds away from becoming a late night dinner course for that lion 😭💔 The way she was so calm about it too 😩 I would have peed in my pants 😭💀
