Talking about Valheim updates with a coworker makes me miss the little crew in the Xia streams we had going. What a fun time. Wish I had even the slightest amount of time to check in with that gang, until I do I miss y'all and look forward to the day I can pop in again.
Oh last thing I did was try and buy new clothes and its all crazy looking items, very young gen z/alpha stuff, and basic jackets are now like 22k. EVERYTHING is tens of thousands I got overwhelmed with indecision and shut it down to revisit later when it isn't so overstimulating.
I hop in one, and its playing FlyLo FM and I go "Wow I listened to this" and quickly change it to country. Never had a game show how much I've changed IRL. Anyways I redressed my dude and got a more updated hair/beard style. I'll keep y'all updated on my time travel adventures
As soon as I load in I am bombarded with emails and texts about crazy new features and things to do, so different from the basic criminal lifestyle our online characters were used to. I have cars that aren't even available to get anymore, and EVERYTHING is in DIDDLOTIC colors
I load in and am met with a house that was pretty rad in 2015 but now is one of the low end homes, and my character is a snapshot of late 2010s millennial burger joint guy vibes. Just slim suits, vests, skinny ties, flat caps and an undercut side part. It used to be cool I swear!
I decided to redownload and try GTAV again for the first time in about 10yrs and wow my poor online character must have felt like in movies where they thaw out a caveman and he runs out and its just the modern world with cars and things flying around and phones 😂😭
I already accepted that gaming has passed an old man like me by, but now I realized that the sneakerhead/cool shoes world has too. They are SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE and for what?! They're mostly cheap junk but cost more than nice shoes used to.
Old man yells at cloud rant over...
I never finished Assassin's Creed Valhalla when it came out, decided to restart it from scratch and try to finish it. Might do the same with Mirage in the future. I'll let y'all know how it goes.
There are some really funny people who need to learn that being intentionally unfunny isn't funny and hasn't been for a decade. Not "dry" humor, but there is a lazy "I'm trying hard to look like I'm trying hard and failing but not really failing because see its all on purpose"
It's just nice that other people see that what he is doing isn't working. Gritty honest and open TTC of yesteryear had something unique to connect to. His new mainstream image attempts to be mysterious super artsy artist while maintaining some goofiness and it just doesn't work.
As somebody who was such a Tyler The Creator/all of OFWGKTA as a teen, all the criticism he is receiving lately makes me happy. He has had a steady fall ever since Cherry Bomb, which wasn't very good itself, and a few ok tracks here and there but his last project was atrocious.
