pcl and dino are not the same people ‼️ he even addressed pcl in 3rd person on his last live 😭 did we watch the same live? or you were too busy witch hunting dinonaras??
di ko na ma rt post ni adf since blockmates kami pero valid points nya. it’s very concerning that dino is being associated w a known problematic individual. this collab can do more harm than good 🤦🏻♀️ they could’ve gotten other ppl to promote it pero sya talaga napili jusq
I NEED HELP
I don't want to ask but I have too. If you can donate any amount. I just lost my job this Tuesday and Kopiko's siblings are rushed to the vet as well this morning and are positive of Parvo.
1.5k per day ang confine fee alone, I can't shoulder all of the expenses 😔
whether or not you’ve agreed with alwaysdinofan on the idea of the rollout for picheolins album i encourage you to read her thread on who these people being featured in his videos are. just because we support dino does not mean we have to turn a blind eye to this
Please READ this thread... regardless if you hate adf or they have you blocked, for this one, please be open minded and check this thread
For context, it's about plybe inviting a problematic person to be part of dn's gose ep— the h0ngn4m guy is WEIRD!
Plybe ruins everything! 🥲
Hi, I got asked for translations of these tweets. I'm posting the full translations here. I do not agree with alwaysDinofan's previous statements; this is simply a translation of what is written.
The guest who appeared in the video is someone who, under another persona (Kim Hong-nam), filmed a music video that included scenes of him touching the buttocks of women wearing bikinis. On his YouTube channel, he also created content parodying adult magazines. Under yet another persona (Danaka), he has built comedy around xenophobic elements by portraying a Japanese host club worker and deliberately speaking awkward Korean.
...And this is the person they invited to content whose main target audience is women in their teens to thirties and overseas fans who like K-pop? Someone who uses misogynistic and xenophobic themes as comedy material?”

"If the Danaka character had remained only on YouTube, it could have been consumed as comedy. However, the situation now extends across multiple forms of media."
"As his activities expand, including appearing in advertisements, the responsibilities that come with being a public figure should also follow. In that regard, the way these issues are being managed appears concerning."
Photo 2
Because his comedy generates laughs by imitating Japanese people’s awkward pronunciation of Korean for example, pronouncing kkot (‘flower’) as kkochi, or calling Everland's Soulless-jwa’s ‘Amazon Song’ amajorujorujoru it is difficult to dismiss the criticism that his humor is rooted in xenophobia.

I also don't understand why someone who created music videos and content like this was used in an idol content promotion primarily targeting women in their teens to thirties.

for this one, they really are making sense. i really don't want anyone with controversy to be linked with dn and his solo album 🥲 this h0ngn4m guy is weird and i know how a lot of intl carats alr think that kfans are just whining but please try to read and properly translate

wish international kpop fans were capable of thinking critically. this pattern of insisting on harassing people you disagree with (despite them being in the right) and completely disregarding fundamentally significant issues because of such mindless hatred is so pathetic.
I saw tweets from international Carats saying that they could not trust my explanation regarding the controversy surrounding the guest featured in this Going content. However, the issue here is not the album itself. The problem is that, in order to promote this album, they invited a guest who has a history of disregarding and offending the album's primary consumers: women in their teens to thirties and international fans.
The guest in question is a Korean comedian who is known for playing various characters. The character who appeared in this content is a trot singer persona called “김홍남.” I would encourage you to watch the music video he produced. In that video, women appear half-naked without any meaningful purpose, and they are used purely as sexual objects.
Several years ago, he also became popular in Korea with another character called “다나카.” That character was portrayed as someone who worked at a Japanese host club and spoke broken Korean. This was a stereotypical portrayal, and the character has been the subject of ongoing accusations of racism in Korea for years.
What we are discussing right now is not the concept or planning of the album itself. If a picheolin album is released, then the company and the content production team should do their best to create promotions that make the character appealing to fans. The artist clearly put a great deal of thought into developing the character and gave us a great song.
However, the company and the production team chose to invite a guest who has a history of disrespecting women and foreigners, despite them being the main target audience. Do we really have to support this kind of promotion unconditionally simply because it is connected to the album?
Even if we have disagreed with each other until now, I sincerely ask you to read the Twitter thread I posted. The articles I attached are not community posts or fanbase opinions. They are reports from Korean media outlets discussing the controversies surrounding this comedian and his characters.
you dont have to agree with what adf said before but please take a moment and listen to what she has to say. This is a bigger issue than fanwars within the fandom. We don’t want our dino to be associated with people like this and I think it’s important that people understand why so many fans are uncomfortable and concerned.
rough summary: adf‘s concern is not the project itself but the choice to associate dino with a creator whose past content has been criticized for misogynistic and xenophobic themes. she says that fans should take those concerns seriously instead of brushing them aside.
