There are people who DO WANT to work, make a living and to make a difference. These people bring more to the table than these businesses think.

I have truly always wanted to work there because I know how slow it is and I want to help my community. I've put in an application and got no response. Well.. there's the issue.

I can go on and on and on. And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one feeling this way. DHS only wants Spanish speaking workers so how is that fair?? Rhode Island wants a person to have a bachelor's degree or either speak Spanish to do simple office work. Like come on!

@TollyTaylor The reason why the snap program is slow and falling behind is because this state refuses to hire people to work. Yes they may have hiring signs all over state but when you put in an application; no one calls back or even considers you. I'm qualified. Yet here I am.
