@MuseumCommodore Without hindsight, PPC was the next phase. Updated sound with sampling, comparable to pc market.
But graphics would be much harder. Anything short of copying PC options on parity (integrated ATI) would fall short. Only SGI (which would spin out Nvidia) had anything advanced.
@NotEngaging76 @MuseumCommodore You guys are asking a lot of first Gen hardware. The truth in any industry is that the first gen hardware is expensive, underpowered, with immature software. Just a few years later, ram costs dropped. Team improved Kickstart and workbench. Soft developers learned the HW.
@MuseumCommodore 2 minutes at the end of a 12 minute demo highlighting all the ways thr Amiga was far superior to an IBM at the time of launch.
Your post reads more like revisionist history to me.
A log entry in the S.S. Makeshitup.
@JoeBangles11@realDonaldTrump His account is a joke/troll account. Everything is ๐ง. The post is just to Trojan horse to ask Trump his favorite cheese.
@AmericasMF@Ravious101@realDonaldTrump Ukrainians are dying for their families. Their sisters. Mothers. Children. Friends. Their land. To suggest otherwise denigrates their sacrifices and shows you for what you are.
@cabbusses@jeriellsworth You were so eager to assert your need cred dominance you didn't bother to know anything about me or learn anything from my first response.
Go back. Read YOUR first response to me.
Sit in the corner and think about what you did.
Anyway I'm out.
@cabbusses@jeriellsworth Quote: RGB ain't that hard to DIY" is such a "I'm from web 2.0" perspective.
You started this. I just corrected your assumption.
So I got a few NES facts wrong. Sue me. But from my POV it was quite a while before I played SMB or DH. But HAD played Mario bros in the arcade.
@cabbusses@jeriellsworth Congratulations on totally, utterly missing the point. But good man-splain. I'm educated on the correct sequence of historical events that nobody gives a crap about thanks to your pointless efforts.
@NelC@TheMekon_Venus@tapedrone And tbh, if yiu want to draw pictures of penises with the software you paid for, that's the very definition of "YOUR business, not THEIRS."
