@jennettemccurdy. It’s such a hard book to read. It’s really interesting but very sad, which I expected but still. Just read the part where her grandpa tells her she should be having fun. Such a poor way of living for a little kid…as my kids play

I just wanted to take a moment to say, community and togetherness is #wherethelightshinesthrough. We were in the path of #Hurricanelan and all I keep seeing is neighbors helping neighbors with yards, houses, etc. It’s a beautiful thing in the midst of darkness. @switchfoot

@iCyclone This is now. Got some crazy wind here in Bradenton earlier. Nothing to this level of course. But it looked like all the trees were going to snap with a few of the gusts at one point. I know we should expect stuff the rest of the night, but for the most part, I think we’re through

@iCyclone I am 60 miles north of the projected landfall of Punta Gorda. Do you think I should have left? My house is 102 years old. I was going to leave when the projection was on top of us in Bradenton, but decided to stay once I saw it move to that area instead.

@iCyclone It was estimated to hit us directly but now it’s supposed to hit 25 miles south of me in Venice. Normally I wouldn’t worry about it, but Ian is massive and I doubt we are out of the clear just because it isn’t expected to be over top of us now.
