@mets what in the world are you doing. In 10 years you are retiring Pete numbers in rafters and everyone will be asking why couldn’t he just been a life long met. Legacy means squat to this team. Sterns better hope his new team makes the playoffs cause if he is last he is fired

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@SteveGelbs @JeffPassan Terrible … sterns is operating as a small market team. Nothing he has done makes any sense to me. My prediction is mets will have a new GM next season. One that operates within the market they are in.

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@mets sterns is MLB version of Dallas Nico Harrison. Disappointed with 95% of the moves he has done for this team since he got here

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@WFAN660 @BrandonTierney Wasn’t he throwing the mets under the bus just a few weeks ago after the Minnesota series

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@StevenACohen2 please resign Alonzo. Home grown talent who has the opportunity to be the greatest Met ever. This team needs that, it’s how a legacy is cemented in baseball. Resign Pete, allow us to keep our prospects for mid season trade if that & let’s win this championship !

[stock goat @kylewhitegoat]

$SOFI Buy in $17's or pay $22-$25 next week...

🚨(THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING)🚨

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@SNY_Mets This is a C- , B+ if the mets sign Alonzo. Mets are making a big mistake if they resign Alonzo. Mind blowing in my opinion that they don’t resign him, incredibly disappointing. Defense will struggle , offense isnt lengthened.

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@Mets not sure what the plan is. But not resigning Pete Alonzo is a huge mistake with this lineup. Soto is not the answer but an expensive complimentary piece. Line up needs more especially against dodgers, Braves and Phillies. Offseason is not done!

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@Joelsherman1 This doesn’t make sense if you sign Soto to a contract that takes him to 40 then signing Alonzo to a 5 year deal shouldn’t be a bad thing

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@Mets today is a good day to sign Pete Alonzo

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@Mets today is a very good day to resign Pete Alonzo ! Let’s get it done! Bring him back home

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@Mets today is a good day to bring back @PolarPete20 nothing else matters … let’s get it done. Home grown , fan appreciated and staple of this lineup

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@Mets for the Love of the baseball Gods please resign Pete Alonso. Concentrate on everything else after accomplishing this. We need Alonso back in NY !!!!

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@JamesNolanPod Should be 5 year $170 mil.

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@Mets please resign Alonso. Soto is a great signing but this offseason needs Alonso as well. He is a pure met and deserves every chance to remain one !

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@NYM_News One has nothing to do with other … smh

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

@AoDespair any chance you can write a new series of the wire with some of the original cast members from the final season. The wire is still my favorite show and watched it often. Match it to todays times which has gotten worse. Need to see new series

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

Dear @mets our team will not win a World Series if other teams in our division improve their roster better than us. Resign Nimmo , sign Turner that should be priority.

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

Why they will just sit him on the bench

[Amazin' Army @WE_ARE_MET_FANS]

Might be time for Francisco Alvarez in Queens… #LGM

[LRod @DJ9pmNY]

They are playing very tired brand of baseball. Like they need multiple days off to be fresh again. Don’t think division is ours .. wildcard is what this team is destined for

[The 7 Line @The7Line]

You don’t really believe the Mets are gonna lose this game, do you?
