Elementary students should not be taking standardized tests. Because testing becomes the focus of education instead of learning. We take away the fun and excitement of learning, playing, exploring, & creating. We create test takers instead of problem solvers and innovators.

February was I love to read month and these awesome 4th graders proved how much they LOVE to read. Each “snowball” covering our snowman is worth 100 minutes. As you can see we were well over our goal of 8,800 minutes as a class!!! #cfelem

Cannon Falls was hit by terrible storms tonight. Due to many down power lines, impassable roads and overall damage to the area, school will be canceled on Friday, September 21st. We hope all of our families are safe.
