@DAMcGuffie@TrondKvam@SakaSzn5 "It doesn't matter whether they did or didn't" is a fantastic response. Ultimately, it obviously does and did at the time.
Hahaha, Spurs don't spend
Urgh, all Spurs do is spend.
Hahahah, all that money and no big trophies.
Waa waa waa, its a closed top 6.
Hahaha, all that money on average players.
Waaa waaa waaa WE WANTED THAT ONE.
Honestly, this window has been HILARIOUS. #COYS
@AVFCMatt1874 You're mad at a club that has literally done what you need to. The entitlement is insane considering you weren't even in the same league a few years prior, and didn't even win that division! Congrats on that play off trophy, despite all the money, Spurs don't have that either.
@COYSpurs2023 All opinions only really and fair play on yours - ultimately though, I'd argue only 1 of them hasn't scored a single premier league goal. Yet ofcourse!
@talkSPORT Lazy kneejerky piling on. The media love going after Spurs, so obvious to press the panic butter after a woeful 1st game of the season. Lets see how Spurs play when they aren't down to their 5th choice captain....
Imagine being a Spurs fan right now, replaced in the Big 6 by Villa, spending Β£400m thinking they're gonna win the league and ending up bottom of the league π
This. And the answer is because the fans giving Spurs grief want their clubs to do what Chelsea and City did to get their level of success. They would be very different if they didn't think their owners would splash the cash if they could.
What I find incredible is the level of outrage over Spurs spending money their own club has actually earned, compared with the reaction when Chelsea and Man City actually cheated their way to the top.
How are Spurs getting more shit than them?
The game is fucking gone
