Please help us find Parker who was last seen in Thorncliffe on Thursday afternoon. Please check all places near your home that he could have hidden in. If you checked earlier, please check again.
🔎 UPDATE #3 - MISSING CHILD - PARKER🔍
We continue to ask for the public's help in locating Parker, 11, and are providing an update on the extensive search and investigative efforts underway to find him.
⭐ Today, we are releasing a new image of Parker captured on CCTV footage on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12:52 p.m., taken at the 5000-6000 block of Travis Crescent N.E. We are hopeful this image will assist the public in recognizing him and provide new information about his whereabouts.
Since he was reported missing, the CPS has dedicated significant resources to locating Parker. Investigators, patrol officers and specialized units continue to work around the clock to examine every possible lead and search areas where Parker may have travelled.
Since Parker was reported missing:
➡️ Approx. 30 tips have been received and assessed by investigators.
➡️ Officers have reviewed, or are currently reviewing, approx. 50 hours of CCTV, residential security camera and dashcam footage.
➡️ More than 200 CPS members have assisted in the search effort.
➡️ Officers have conducted door-to-door inquiries in all the surrounding communities and continue to canvass the area.
Investigators continue to identify, collect and review additional video footage and other evidence related to Parker's movements.
Search efforts continue in the communities of Cambrian Heights, Thorncliffe, North Haven, North Haven Upper, Highwood, Highland Park, Greenview, Greenview Industrial Park, Nose Hill Park and surrounding areas. Today, approx. 100 to 120 trained search volunteers coordinated through Search and Rescue Alberta are assisting with search operations in northwest Calgary.
Members of the public may continue to see a significant police and search presence in these communities, including our Air Support Unit, Mounted Patrol Team, Mountain Bike Unit, Canine Unit, patrol officers, investigators and trained search volunteers.
We remain grateful for the tremendous community support we have received and encourage residents to continue assisting in safe and meaningful ways.
ℹ️ There is nothing to indicate foul play is involved. Although this case does not meet the Government of Alberta’s legislated threshold for an AMBER Alert, we are working with our partners at the Missing Children's Society of Canada to issue an alert in hopes of locating Parker.
📣 Anyone with information about his whereabouts, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of Parker, is asked to contact police by calling 403-266-1234 or by submitting it here: https://t.co/Z5ulkAdUSS

@KybrdWrrr This changes nothing for the City and costs taxpayers zero. It does save applicants the trouble of proving their low income multiple times and Green Shield having to administer a verification check. It's win-win.
@KybrdWrrr I think you may be misunderstanding. Fair Entry verifies income for low income Calgarians. They get a letter they can then use as proof of income for low income discount services. Green Shield is now accepting that letter as proof of eligibility for their discount service.
🔎 Update #2: Missing child – Parker 🔍
🚨 We continue to ask for the public's help in locating Parker, 11, and are releasing additional information about his possible whereabouts.
📍 Today, search efforts are continuing in the northwest communities of Cambrian Heights, Thorncliffe, North Haven, North Haven Upper, Highwood, Highland Park, Greenview, Greenview Industrial Park, Nose Hill Park and surrounding communities.
📣 We are asking residents in these communities to thoroughly check their properties, including garages, backyards, sheds, under decks and other places where a child may seek shelter or hide.
📷 We are also asking anyone in these communities who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of Parker to contact police to assist in our search. CCTV or dashcam footage can be uploaded to the following link: https://t.co/Z5ulkAesIq
A continued police presence, alongside trained search volunteers, will be in these communities throughout the day. The public may see our search teams, including our Air Support Unit, Mounted Patrol Team, Mountain Bike Unit, Canine Unit and ground search teams.
🚨 We ask members of the public not to interrupt search teams while they conduct their work. If you see Parker, do not approach him. Instead, keep your distance and contact police immediately.
💙 We greatly appreciate the community's ongoing support and assistance in the search for Parker.
@LSamosn@arainbowdk It's redundant reporting of information that is already publicly available. It was more bureaucracy than transparency IMO. I was out voted on this amendment, and transparency is rarely bad, so I was fine to vote in favour of the amended motion, which was the next vote.
Hey, neighbour!
On Friday, July 24 I will be hosting a casual get together and community conversation afternoon at Citizen Brewery from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is your chance to bring your issues to me in person, and connect with other community members.

Today I had the opportunity to congratulate the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo on their remarkable renovation of their Asian animal habitats. The new Asian Highland enclosures are a testament to the work that the zoo is doing to better care for animals and make them accessible.
I was pleased to introduce the sailors of the HMCS Calgary and HMCS Tecumseh on stage alongside MDmotivator this week at the Cowboys Music Festival ahead of Ella Langley. It was a great opportunity to connect more Calgarians to the Canadian Armed Forces and Calgary Salutes.
Hey, neighbour!
One of the personal highlights for me this Stampede was being immortalized in pancake form at the Contemporary Calgary Stampede Breakfast. Art is good for the mind and it turns out its good for the stomach too.
Hey, neighbour!
I have a special shout out video from Mayor Jeromy Farkas to one of our youngest Ward 4 neighbours Nyla, who asked me all about my role as Deputy Mayor of Calgary at the Highland Park Stampede BBQ yesterday, and wanted to meet Mayor Farkas in person.
Today was a great day to spend time at Northland Mall and Highland Park meeting with neighbours and celebrating the spirt of the Stampede. After a few days of attending events as Deputy Mayor, it was great to return to Ward 4 and greet friends and champion the best ward.
Hey, neighbour!
🚧 Roadwork on Berkshire Blvd. NW is set to begin today. Existing pavement will be removed starting on July 7, and paving will begin in July 12. The timeline to completion is weather dependent, so please plan your route at https://t.co/rD5brxQThi
@dplouffe1 A lack of appropriately temperamented horses? The three members of council who sit on the Stampede board ride a horse with the rest of the board. Every other elected official rides a wagon. I was told I could ride a horse if I brought my own. 😆
Hey, neighbour!
Thank you Calgary for coming out on an amazing day for the Calgary Stampede Parade. It was truly an honour to cheer the start of the Stampede alongside my council colleagues Kim Tyers, Jennifer Wyness, John Pantazopoulos, Andrew Yule, Rob Ward, and all of you.
Hey, neighbour!
I was thrilled to attend today's announcement by the Government of Canada that they are investing $40 million into Contemporary Calgary. This along with the $40 million from the Government of Alberta is a game changer for contemporary art in Calgary and Canada.
Hey, neighbour!
I can't think of a better way to kick off the Calgary Stampede than flipping a few pancakes with my council colleagues John Pantazopoulos and Harrison Clark at First Flip, even though I did get hit with a pancake.
@kpac_15 I was just there today. It is disappointing the fort was removed in 1914, but the Marking was installed in 2017 to show the original palisade and we have the barrack replica built in 2001.
Hey, neighbour!
Thanks to a Ward 4 neighbour, myself and my team along with the Parks team at the City were able to replace the flags at Confederation Park just in time for Canada Day. I can't think of a better place to start my Canada Day celebrations.
