Joined our senior comrade Hon. Betty Nambooze Bakireke and other leaders from NUP to lay to rest her father, mzee Ssetuba Peter Kayongo, in Mende, Wakiso District. Mzee Ssetuba succumbed to an illness last Saturday.

Listening to the eulogy of Hon. Nambooze, I couldn't help but feel pity for Mzee Kayongo and other Ugandans who spent their youth fighting to establish a democratic country only to end up shortchanged by Mr. Museveni who had all along postured as a patriot.

Thankfully, through comrades like Hon. Nambooze, Mzee Kayongo's dream continues to live on in the pursuit of justice, freedom, and dignity for all Ugandans. May his soul rest in peace.

We pray and work hard every day to see to it that citizens like jajja Tausi who have survived the reign of several regimes get the chance to finally experience what it feels like to have a functional country.

Museveni’s son has the audacity and liberty to use the most obscene and disgusting language in reference to those who oppose him and his father.

At the same time, he causes the abduction, torture, and sham trial of our supporters and other Ugandans who criticize him and his father for corruption and brutality! Right now, dozens of tiktokers and other social media users are languishing in jail for months - for simply being critical to the regime.

Let's continue pushing - one day, the scales of justice will balance.

Just learnt of the violent abduction this evening, of comrade Achileo Kivumbi, the head of Security at the @NUP_Ug Headquarters.

Apparently, several heavily armed men, moving in a Noah Reg. No. UAP 164P trailed him and manhandled him as he approached his home. They immediately started beating him up as they dragged him into the vehicle and drove away. His pleas to inform his family members fell on deaf ears. He has been taken to an unknown destination.

We do not know what state he is in right now given what onlookers describe as an extremely violent abduction. The criminal regime continues to violate every human right there is in the book😡😡����
