@sonos - hoping you monitor this account better than your customer support online. Can someone explain what's going on with your @SoundCloud link - its been sketchy for a few days now - would be nice to get an update beyond the chat boards from the company
@CuriosityCincy kindly invited me to be a guest on an episode of Question Everything. Tackled some big topics like 'poor client briefing' 'ditch the pitch' and 'timesheets'...also swore a little bit. Enjoy! https://t.co/VUIolm5iVD

As we approach the end of summer, I’m taking advantage of a rare quiet week before the chaos of September and October kicks in. I’m offering 8 one-hour consulting sessions next week, from Monday to Wednesday.

If you're not investing in the future of your agency, who are you planning to use to satisfy the promises you are making to clients? This is a big challenge for agencies to overcome..
Some interesting insight from @4As @meknyc
@willcarling lets remember that they have already beaten one of the other semi-finalists - easy to criticize their path to the semis but they still had to win their games - maybe its time for the critics in England to applaud their national team and get behind them (like you are Will)
@triketora The problem is that the AirBnb system has now been around long enough to allow nefarious characters (on buy and sell side) to try and game the system. No regulation and a whole lot of trust (again on both sides) has led to a poor product - lessons for others...
@LeShann@clairestrickett Another issue is the ownership of material created in the pitch. If an agency takes a small stipend for taking part they are likely giving up all rights to the ideas/work they have presented. In a non paid pitch, clients recognize that they cannot use work they don't pay for
@clairestrickett@LeShann and therein lies the main challenge...we have explicitly asked for no creative on some pitches yet participating agencies want to stand out so they 'knock something up' to bring it to life.
@paulmarkbailey 60-70% for senior strategists, 70-80% for Juniors - anything more than this is tough to implement. Anything less just hits your overheads too hard.
