@darrenrovell@MemoryLaneInc@BosCardHunter PSA could offer a service: for $50K they will send a representative to the autograph session who will the open the slab on behalf of the customer and ensure it remains safe after it's signed all the way until it's reslabbed.
@thetagmann In the famous words of The Situation on Jersey Shore: "Do I get a discount? No discount. What happens if I pay cash...discount? No discount."
@CybeleOphis Didn't make sense to me either. In an alternate universe (where storytelling logic exists), Fake Ref Pat would fast count 1-2-3 and Orton walks out as champion?
@atrupar Sean Keeley had an excellent line about Tuberville skipping the Championship game to continue a tradition he started at Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas Tech, etc.
@vgregorian@DanKelley66 The biggest problem with the HOF process is people like Mr. Gregorian voting for "their guys" or trying to get "last chance" candidates in. They changed the system and you're still trying to game it. If you would just vote for the best candidates, everything would work fine.
@Scottazzza Terry Pegula reportedly read your message and addressed it during the press conference today. Who would've guessed that Keon was McDermott's guy and Beane had his eyes on a different Ladd?
@bamaperspective Good stuff. The idea that Bama can't keep up with "rich schools" seems odd to me at this point - $20M is not a big number. It's possible the Cubans and Ellisons escalate things beyond reach, but it's also possible they put the brakes on something that has no financial ROI.
@bamaperspective For your Top 7, what percentage of the money are you estimating comes from NIL deals (vs. the $20.5M the school itself is allowed to spend)?
@Katheri92272612@gobamabraves16 I think Tyler (Watts?) is confused. According to House v. NCAA, schools have a cap of $20.5M to spend across all sports...UA spends 100% of what's allowed and mostly on football. Any disparity in portal competition would be due to NIL money, which can't come from the school.
