@theficouple yes because in the beginning you owe more on the loan which is what the interest is calculated against... 5% on a $500,000 balance is more than 5% on $20,000 balance... they try to keep your monthly bill the same so more goes to the loan balance later

@BillWiIdin when you rent, your landlord is using your rent money to pay for the fees/interest/repairs/maintenance/etc associated with that property, the landlord is in it for the profit. They wouldn't do it otherwise, this is a weak argument

@CaesarMakeMoney Rent goes up, always. Mortgage is much more locked in.. also, EVERYTHING that your landlord pays for (repairs, upkeep, etc) is coming from your rent one way or another

@thunter86 it's always had big headliners, I saw Prince & Paul McCartney there... Jay-Z, Dr Dre, Depeche Mode, Roger Waters, Madonna, Guns N Roses, Lady Gaga, etc... the headliners have often been huge and they bring in crowd who check out smaller acts throughout the weekend, it works great
