@lizhagearty Also, higher traffic flow and many studies I’ve seen show that traffic circles are safer for motorists - fewer points of vehicular conflict.
I think it was @FriendWithin who recently said, at this rate Festival DJ’s will be playing the Crazy Frog.
I walked past a main stage at Glastonbury and a headline DJ was playing Eye Of The Tiger 😳🤯 WTF is happening!!!
@lizhagearty On all batteries there’s a chemistry (look under tech specs) - lithium ion is old tech (and those batteries get worn down much faster over time) while LiFePO4 is new and those won’t run down as quickly. It makes a diff if you want something that’s less likely to become waste
@akbaracmilano@ricardojrsousa@JaniAnttonen@sdw So look at expenses and not the revenue. This is all just him trying to make a great looking P+L and balance sheet for the IPO and not about long term sustainability.
@chrissytrax They’re written for the artist’s own set - where that breakdown is the most important thing in the world. It’s mediocre when it’s a DJ who is not that performer then plays that track and doesn’t use the breakdown to mix out, blend, etc.
@TEEDinosaurs musicians striking against who or what, exactly? There’s so little money in music production and performance, aside from a very privileged top echelon of artists (and even they don’t make very much on the actual music they make).
Four Tet encapsulating so well what DJing has meant to me in the last decade. It’s a chance to play, to mess with people, to throw the switch up, to play “inappropriate” genres, to surprise, to fuck with your b2b partners. It’s fun.
