💔 Have you ever felt that crypto broke your spirit, but you still believe? 💔

A few thoughts out loud. 🚀

I’ve been in crypto for quite a while. I started actively buying Bitcoin in 2019. 📈 In 2021 I began to take an interest in other cryptocurrencies, but at that time I had a family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and responsibilities that didn’t allow me to fully dive into the crypto world.

In 2022 I decided to quit my job (I was 33 then) and devote all my time to crypto — looking for ways to earn a living. 💼 For about a year and a half I tried to learn futures trading. 📉 During that time I lost almost all my savings while still supporting my family. Through it all, my family always supported me and believed I would succeed. ❤️

In 2024 I decided to build an altcoin portfolio because everyone kept saying the four-year cycle repeats and a new bull market would make us all rich. 🐂 I didn’t really believe it, but I took the risk and invested all my savings into alts. Right now my portfolio is down about 80% from the price I bought at. 😵 It’s painful to watch, but I’m still here, still looking for my place in the crypto world. 🥳

At the beginning of 2025 I left trading completely and switched to hunting for alpha and airdrops. 🎁 So far I haven’t received any meaningful drops (except $COAI, which I sold at $0.4). That’s when I decided to try my luck on X. It’s sad to see so many influencers posting endless “GM”s with Lambos 🏎️ and Rolexes ⌚ in the background. There are very few people sharing genuinely useful information that helps others grow in this space. Those who write helpful posts or articles mostly stay in the shadows, while the loudest voices and their endless nonsense keep dominating the feed.

I wish the X algorithm would reward people whose posts actually bring value to others, not endless “GM” messages and “Comment and I’ll follow you” tactics — it all looks like engagement farming, not community building. 🤝 It’s hard to watch people degrade in pursuit of money, completely forgetting about basic humanity.

Ironically, maybe the real alpha wasn’t in some hidden token or secret Discord all along — maybe it’s in keeping your dignity, staying helpful, and not turning every feed into a Brag-Off. In the wild world of crypto, being useful might just be the rarest airdrop of all. 💎
