🚨 Republican County Clerk Michael Caruso was arrested on multiple child s*xual abuse charges involving a younger male relative.

The 67-year-old was appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis and previously served as a Florida state legislator.

He faces felony charges including kidnapping, lewd or lascivious molestation, and luring a child.

Authorities say the allegations involve multiple incidents, including a fishing trip and a family cruise.

He was immediately suspended and is being held without bond.

A man given power and public trust is now accused of using family access to a child.

🚨Meet Robert Shircliff, 61, of Antlers, Oklahoma — proud Confederate flag flyer and Trump supporter, now behind bars on a $1 million bond on child s*xual abuse charges.

Shircliff faces multiple felony counts including r*pe of a child, s*domy, and lewd acts with a child. According to court records, the alleged crimes date back to 2018. He was booked into Pushmataha County Jail and remains in custody.

Before his arrest, Shircliff’s Facebook was a shrine to the Lost Cause and MAGA politics: he updated his profile picture to a Confederate battle flag, shared a post comparing “judging” Muslims versus gun owners while griping that Social Security recipients “worked for” their money but welfare recipients supposedly didn’t, and praised Trump as the “strict parent” America’s “spoiled, ignorant” citizens supposedly needed.

🚨Meet Timothy John Canfield, 37, a well-known mechanic in Jasper, Texas — and, per his own Facebook, an enthusiastic Trump supporter.

On Wednesday, the Texas Attorney General’s Office, assisted by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, executed an arrest and search warrant. Canfield was charged with Possession of Child P*rnography Depicting S*xual Assault of a Child — a first-degree felony carrying up to life in prison if convicted.

He’s being held on $500,000 bond.

The case began with a months-long investigation sparked by a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Before the arrest, Canfield’s Facebook was peak MAGA: he shared a claim that anyone who voted for Trump gets called racist by the media, cheered a meme joking Trump would ban Luke Bryan music, and posted a bizarre fan-art image of Trump standing triumphantly on a tank labeled “TRUMP,” gripping a rifle in front of an explosion.

Given the fact that Canfield is not a drag queen, not trans, and not an undocumented immigrant, the case is unlikely to get national attention.

Remember the campaign trail theatrics? Trump and his allies hyped Sound of Freedom as proof of their crusade against child sex trafficking, promising an all-out war on predators once back in power. Fast-forward to his second term, and the Justice Department’s own numbers expose the empty rhetoric.

According to a Reuters analysis, federal sex-trafficking charges through June 2026 hit just 73 defendants—a roughly 22% drop from the average of the prior three years’ first halves. Child s*xual abuse materials cases dipped 3%, and Mann Act violations (transport for prostitution) fell 18%. Prosecutions are at their slowest pace since 2010.

Resources once aimed at trafficking investigations have been redirected toward mass deportations and chasing voter-fraud claims. Homeland Security Investigations agents have been reassigned, experienced prosecutors have left, and staffing shortages leave remaining teams scrambling. Former prosecutors and agents say the administration talks priority while starving the effort of people and funding. Victim services grants have been delayed or frozen too.

The Sound of Freedom photo-ops and tough talk now look like classic MAGA bait-and-switch: wave the movie poster, claim moral high ground, then let the actual case numbers tank. “You can’t say something is a priority and then not provide the resources,” one former federal sex-crimes prosecutor told Reuters.

Trump’s Justice Department insists trafficking remains a focus. The data—and the agents on the ground—say otherwise. Campaign promises on protecting kids from traffickers have, once again, proven cheaper than the paper they’re printed on.

At all,” a “White As F*ck” graphic, shared anti-trans posts, anti-immigrant posts warning of “Islamic conquest,” and tied Epstein to Democrats while posting content attempting to exonerate Trump.

Ironically, Releford shared a false claim accusing Hunter Biden of p*ssessing “child p*rnography.” No such material was ever found on Hunter Biden’s laptop. As always, every accusation is a confession.

Turns out the guy manufacturing fake p*dophilia smears against MAGA’s political rivals was allegedly the one exploiting children all along.

Releford isn’t a drag queen, trans, gay, Muslim, or an undocumented immigrant. Instead, he’s the usual suspect—making right-wing media coverage of this case unlikely. Cases like this only become part of the outrage machine if conservatives have a minority group to demonize.
