@911LAPD I hope the cop that killed that dog ends up the same way. If you are scared of a golden doodle in a basketball jersey, you shouldn’t be allowed to carry a gun or be a fucking cop. Coward. Asshole. No wonder people hate police.
If you are in fear for your life from a golden doodle, you shouldn’t be a fucking cop. I hope the cop that shot the dog has the same thing happen to him. I won’t shed any tears. Fucking assholes.
A trained service dog is in a Georgia shelter and is in danger of being killed there. If you know anyone who needs a trained dog (it’s very expensive to train them properly) contact the original poster. Transportation costs will be crowd funded. It would be a shame for a dog who can help somebody to lose his life. If nothing else, please shares
Talarico: Here's what real men don't do. They don't lie and cheat their way through life. They don't sell their soul to the highest bidder. Real men serve others, weak men serve themselves. So I welcome this debate. I don't think Paxton or Cruz are in a position to tell anyone what a real man is.
“Every night for 47 years, we’d sit together before bed and read. I’d read my book, she’d read hers. Sometimes we’d tell each other about the stories afterward.”
I could already feel my throat tightening.
Then he swallowed hard and added, “The house is awfully quiet now… but I still read her favorite books.”
I asked why.
He smiled, but his eyes filled with tears.
“Because when I get to the good parts, I still catch myself turning to tell her about them.”
There was a long silence.
Then he looked at the empty space beside him and softly said,
“And for a second… I forget she’s not there.”
I made it through the transaction somehow.
The second he walked out the door, I went into the back room and cried.
Because sometimes the hardest part of losing someone isn’t the day they leave.
It’s all the ordinary moments afterward when your heart still expects them to be there.
Abdul Carter says he will only address Jaxson Dart introducing Donald Trump one time:
"Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things.
Jaxson is one of our leaders - he's the face of our franchise. He represents himself and what he does, and he represents all of us.
If he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it's my responsibility based on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I'm against that, but to show the world.
That doesn't mean that we have to spread hate. That doesn't mean that me and Jaxson hate each other or we have beef. I sit next to Jaxson every day - we're close, we talk.
As long as we make sure we have the same goal as a team, and our goals align - which they do -that's all that matter.
I just want to move past this."
