BREAKING: Court sets aside judgment recognising NDC as political party
A federal high court in Lokoja has set aside its earlier judgment which compelled the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to register the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as a political party.
According to NAN, Isah Dashen, presiding judge, while delivering ruling in a suit marked FHC/LKJ/CS/49/2025, held that the December 10, 2025, judgment was reached without hearing all necessary parties, rendering the proceedings constitutionally defective.

Don’t 𝑏𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑤𝑎𝑡𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 the episode with Mama Joke Silva if you get offended easily.
1. Because after over 40 guests and counting on this show , I still don’t understand how people watch Bae U Barbie’s show and miss the whole essence of it.
2. You cannot compare this show to Ebuka’s interviews. You definitely cannot compare it to Tea With Tay. You go into these shows with completely different expectations.
3. I don’t know about anyone else, but despite all the negative reviews flying around, this episode was honestly beautiful to me.
4. And you know what this episode made me realize? Some of these legends actually come on this show just to relax. And by relax, I mean laugh freely, gist, loosen up, and test another side of themselves we rarely get to see.
5. This is a side of Mama Joke Silva I have never seen in all my years of watching her.
I never knew she could throw clapbacks at humour and deliver them so effortlessly 😭
6. She smiled after almost every response and still spoke with that calm, cultured English that only her generation carries so elegantly.
And somehow, while watching her, I kept seeing traces of Sir Olu Jacobs in her.
7. The smile. The calm delivery. The rise-and-fall tone when speaking English.🥹
8. It honestly made me realize that marriage goes beyond couples resembling each other physically. Sometimes, you unconsciously begin to take on each other’s mannerisms, expressions, and even verbal traits.
9. One thing that genuinely shocked me was hearing her say she didn’t know her husband was 19 years older than her before they got married
But the way she explained it made so much sense in her world. According to her, “How would I have known when he was handsome, young, and bubbling?” 😂
10. And honestly, this is probably the mentality that has kept their love beautiful for decades, even while the internet keeps spreading hasty rumours about Sir Olu Jacobs’ health.
11. Every chance she gets, she hypes her husband with so much love and honour. You can literally feel it.
12. And am I the only one who thought she came to promote a movie?Only for her not to mention any movie at all 😭
13. Instead, she just chipped in about future characters she still hopes to play or direct someday, especially stories deeply rooted in Nigerian culture.
14. Also, one thing I respected deeply, Bae U Barbie never crossed the line when it came to Sir Olu Jacobs. Not once.
15. Every single time his name came up, it was “our legend” this, “our legend” that. He even called him “Sir Jay” repeatedly, and I realized I’ve barely heard people in the industry refer to him that way before.
16. From the flow of the questions too, it’s obvious Bae U Barbie and his team actually communicate properly with guests and their management before recording.
17. I remember Chioma Good Hair mentioning her manager in her own episode, and Mama Joke Silva also mentioned Sodiq here.
18. At the end of the day, this show clearly isn’t trying to be CNN or Al Jazeera If you want deep seriousness from start to finish, there are other interviews for that.
19. But if you want to relax, laugh out loud, and watch legends feel human again, then this show will work for you.
20. And respect to Bae U Barbie for that final moment. Postrating and saying, “Thank you ma for coming.” That simple act carried so much respect.
And yes, If you get to see this, You actually proved me wrong in this episode by staying in your lane and handling the conversation around Sir Olu Jacobs with maturity and honour.
I genuinely enjoyed this episode, and I still don’t see any reason to stop watching this show.
As always, thank you for coming to my T€D writes ✍🏿.

• Restart your phone at least once a week. It improves speed and reduces random hanging.
• Use WhatsApp “View Once” for sensitive documents instead of leaving permanent copies everywhere.
• Price at least three shops before buying anything expensive.
• If NEPA takes light often in your area, freeze water in bowls and bottles. It helps preserve food longer during outages.
• For job hunting, dress slightly above the role you’re applying for. In Nigeria, appearance is sometimes treated like qualification.
• Unplug appliances when not in use. It saves power and protects devices from sudden voltage spikes.
• Buy foodstuff in bulk with friends or neighbors. It’s usually cheaper than buying retail.
• Learn simple home repairs. Calling technicians for every little issue can drain money fast.
• Never announce your full salary to extended family unless you enjoy becoming everybody’s emergency contact.
This picture really broke my heart💔.
So, the guy on the blue Polo was with his eldest brother's girlfriend.. Nothing serious. As they were walking, a female interviewer walked up to them and asked if they were couples. The guy said no, that the girl is her eldest brother's girlfriend..
Then the interviewer decided to run a quick quick test on the eldest brother. Right in the presence of his eldest brother's girlfriend, the interviewer asked the guy to call his elder brother on the phone and request for urgent help..
He picked up his phone, called his brother and begged him to help him out with just 3K, that his mobile App is not working at the moment. Just 3K to buy food, considering the fact that he has stomach ulcer. But his own blood brother told him he doesn't have anything.
When the interviewer asked the guy's girlfriend to call his boyfriend (who is an elder brother to the guy in blue Polo), he told the interviewer with confidence that his elder brother don't truly have the money, because he believed that if he had, he would have sent it to him knowing fully well that he's an ulcer patient.
But then, they finally agreed that the girlfriend should call him..
The girl picked her phone, called her boyfriend in the presence of his younger brother, requested for 50K to sort out a bill. The same guy that told his own blood brother that he's broke at the moment, he agreed to send urgent 50K to his girlfriend while his brother was hungry with ulcer...
That's a high level of betrayal. I wonder if the younger brother will ever heal from that betrayal and heartbreak.
👇
What would you do as the brother?
Blood k!ll you and your generation. Coming out to spill rubbish.. do you have an idea what goes on behind the scenes?? How about you ask your fav why he refused to push and also make himself available for the music video. Make una no allow me start to dey talk o. Respect yourself
JUST IMAGINE THIS:
The INEC chairman tried to deny that the account @joashamupitan belonged to him.
However Grok investigation has shown that the email used to open the account is also the exact email on the official CV of the INEC chairman.
This is really a big national shame.
In sane countries, this is grounds for resignation and public embarrassment.
MORE GLARING EVIDENCE:
For that X account @joashamupitan, which the INEC Chairman now denies, here is the email address used to open the account: it is [email protected]
This is the same email address on the UniJos profile of the INEC Chairman. You can Google it (I have attached it for you anyway).
If you go on X and try to log in with that email, then say you forgot the password and ask for the 2FA process to recover access to the account,
X will give you various options for the 2FA process which includes a phone number ending in *99.
On the inec chairman CV, which is publicly accessible, you will find this phone number there 08035074099. This number correlates with the 2FA number linked to that X account.
If you want to confirm that the phone number belongs to him, try sending money to that number using Opay, the account holder name shows it is him.
There is no further point denying this.
EVEN MORE EVIDENCE:
While the INEC chairman tries to deny he has an X account, the objective evidence shows he is absolutely lying.
The 2FA process for the email registered to that particular X account shows you it is linked to a certain phone number that ends with the digits “99”.
Now, if you go online and look at the phone number on his official CV, you will see his email and a phone number 08035074099. That’s the phone number ending in 99.
Now it gets more interesting,
If you go to Opay and try sending money to that particular phone number, guess the name of the account holder that comes up??? 😂
I have attached ALL the evidence.
It is very clear that the INEC chairman does have an X account. That X account is tied to his official email as per his university CV records, with a 2FA process linked to a phone number directly registered to his name.
Again, I have attached ALL the evidence. This is a really disgraceful situation and a completely unacceptable discovery.
It is now objectively clear that,
We now have an INEC chairman who is obviously partisan, blatantly compromised and who will very likely oversee an unreliable presidential election designed to coronate the APC.
See, we are totally finished as a country.
Whoever brought the idea of destabilizing opposition parties through leadership, is actually a genius! Because I never heard of such under Jonathan, yaradua, and Obasanjo.
JUST IN: INEC's derecognition plot to prevent us from fielding candidates, says ADC
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has described its derecognition by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as a “plot” to prevent the party from fielding candidates in the 2027 general election.
In a statement issued on Monday, Bolaji Abdullahi, ADC’s national publicity secretary, alleged that the commission’s action, including the refusal to receive correspondence from the party, is designed to create obstacles that would ultimately exclude it from the electoral process.
