After years in organic chemistry research as a scientist and now teaching high school, I’m convinced our curriculum is broken. We’re asking students to be 'jacks of all trades' in a world that requires specialists. Trying to cover every base just distracts and discourages them. I suspect the reason higher education hasn't changed is simple: more credit hours mean more tuition. It’s time we stop prioritizing the bottom line and start focusing on a more efficient, specialized way of learning.

@fukupapers Good question: H2O has three phases, solid(ice), liquid(water) and vapor (water vapor). You can liquidate ice into water by melting, you can convert water vapor into liquid water by condensing 😀, but liquid water cannot be liquidated.
