True the previous Tekkens were harder and more neutral focused, but I believe anyone good in T8 can take some time to adjust to get to the same level.

@V_o_Ritual @DroopiTV I think the real frustration comes from the fact that a lot legacy tekken players take their frustration with Bamcos new design philosophy out on newer tekken players. Instead of just enjoying the game you grew up with for some reason people have to shit talk new players.

This isn’t about being old, or trapped in nostalgia. They stripped everything that made Tekken Tekken starting with 7.

Easier throw breaks and windows, easier movement, easier back dash recovery, neutral skips, wake up/okizeme game is non existent, homogenized move-lists, covering characters weaknesses, 2D fighter-like pressure and the list goes on.

Whether you like T8 or not, when you take away the depth of things you lose the art and quality of it. Including the people that have passion for it. There’s your answer to everyone playing T6.

Everyone can play T8, and being on the receiving end of the bs that occurs with every character and the heat mechanic is exactly what makes it not fun.

Tekken 5 DR Rollback is gonna be out soon:
- testing phase, 2 small tweak updates left
- 8f of rollback supported, high performance(psp ver)
- Windows & Linux, spectating, replays
- moved camera back a bit to match ps3 version
- hd texture pack works
- T6 will follow shortly

Highly agree. I've been playing legacy tekken consistently for over a year. This attitude is very pervasive and totally noxious to any newer tekken players. And not THAT true. Tekken is similar enough that the skills will definitely translate just takes getting used to.

@Landon_D_ Is it not a 50/50 like DR? 1 if I do 1+3, 2 if I do 2+4? If it's always 1. Do you think it's better to go for the ground throw when like CHdb2 or CH FCdf4 hits or should I just do db4 or b 1+2, what do you usually do?

I usually do not come up with these types of tweets but if you say that Kazuya is garbage in T6, you have mad skill issue, yes he was harder to play but you never knew how solid he can be in the right hands (definitely mid tier imo). Kaz in T6 was just a pure turtle.
