Russia has started calling its terrorist attacks on Ukrainian cities a "response" to Ukraine's special operation targeting strategic bombers.
These so-called "responses" include strikes on residential buildings in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lutsk, Pryluky, and other cities.

Russia continues to drop glide bombs (KABs) on Kherson.
It carried out the most intense attacks on residential areas in Kharkiv since 2022. Over the past 24 hours alone, 6 civilians were killed and 44 wounded in Kharkiv and the surrounding region.

Russian forces also continue targeting civilians in the center of Sumy.

‼️Russia is killing Ukrainians simply because it can.
Its goal is to wipe Ukraine off the map.
Ukraine is not "provoking" — it is defending itself.

These attacks aim to spread panic, break civilian morale, and destabilize the rear.

The nonsense of Russian Soviet-style propaganda has not changed... and unfortunately neither has the naive stupidity of the West in dealing with it.
❗️Historical fact: On September 17, 1939, Russia invaded Poland to "protect Russian minorities."
❗️This is exactly the same narrative that Putin dug out of the store of old Soviet lies to "justify" the invasion of Ukraine.
❗️That is no coincidence, because in general the "Putin system" is a dangerous revival of Soviet imperial fantasies:

1) Putin's foreign policy is an old Soviet tactic:
Andrei Gromyko, former long-time foreign minister of the USSR, summed up this tactic clearly:

a) Demand the maximum. Don't ask, but DEMAND something that NEVER belonged to you.
b) Issue ultimatums. Make threats.
c) Don't make concessions, because there will ALWAYS be politicians in the West who will offer you something.
d) And in the end you will have a third or even half of something that NEVER belonged to you before.

2) Putin, the ex-KGB officer, has a plan for the world, and this plan has a name:
"Russkiy Mir" ("RUSSIAN WORLD", the word "Mir" can mean both "world" and "peace", but "Russkiy Mir" as an ideology is a doctrine of imperialism).
This megalomaniac imperial fantasy was largely shaped by Putin's KGB colleague Vladimir Gundjajew (today better known as Kirill I, Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, this ex-officer of the communist KGB is now said to be a voice of Jesus, which in itself is completely ridiculous) and is being implemented by Putin without compromise.

3) "Russian world" means the non-recognition of the independent statehood of the ex-Soviet republics, as well as the restoration of the spheres of influence of the old "Warsaw Pact". Since some of the ex-Soviet republics are now NATO members and the Warsaw Pact reached as far as Berlin, it is obvious what kind of war is awaiting us if Putin is not stopped in Ukraine.

4) Putin wants to conquer, and he will not limit his ambitions to Ukraine in case he doesn't get stopped there.
❗️ It was no coincidence that in a much-quoted speech in 2004 Putin described the collapse of the Soviet Union as a "national tragedy of enormous proportions" and a year later in 2005 in his "speech to the nation" he actually described it as "the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century".
For Putin, it was not WWII, nor the Holocaust, that was the "greatest tragedy", but rather THE COLLAPSE OF RUSSIA'S IMPERIAL GREATNESS.
❗️Putin sees it as HIS PERSONAL MISSION, as his "legacy to Russian history", to correct this supposedly "worst of all tragedies" and to restore Russia to its imperial greatness from Soviet times.
THAT'S WHY he doesn't care what his predecessor Yeltsin signed (namely the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, which guarantees the territorial integrity of Ukraine).
THAT'S WHY he invaded Ukraine.
THAT'S WHY he is already stirring up trouble in Moldova/Transnistria, a candidate for EU membership.
THAT'S WHY he is stirring up trouble and inciting hatred against Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania (NATO member states).
THAT'S WHY Putin's accomplices Kadyrov and Medvedev are already devising plans to correct the mistake of withdrawing Russian troops from East GERMANY ("that was a mistake, that is our territory", quote Kadyrov, e.g. on February 15, 2023).

➡️ Russia can be defeated, Russia has been defeated several times in history and has also been defeated twice as a nuclear power.
❗️In the interest of world peace, this must now happen a third time.
There is no alternative.
Because Russian victory means war.
Ukrainian victory means peace.
