@RoKhanna@mcuban You want founders of companies to have to take out loans from the government to pay taxes on the theoretical value of what they are building. Meanwhile, hedge funds get a free government pass. You are weaving an insane, disgusting, Ayn Rand villain level economic fallacy.
@dilanesper I think this is might a take women of a certain social economic class can achieve but just like all men can’t be Jamie Dimond the same logic applies here.
Sure she might be a social experiment but what is more likely she becomes the norm or a reversion? I leave that to public
Spurs players celebrating like they’ve won the World Cup, kissing the badge and singing “we are staying up.”
On the same day we lift the PL trophy.
Do not ever compare these clubs again.
I’m over the moon to begin this next chapter of my career in my dream job! SportsCenter is a show I grew up watching, a cornerstone of ESPN for decades, and I’m so honored to join such an iconic program.
I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity, and especially thankful for the family, friends, and colleagues who have supported me every step of the way.
Can’t wait to get to work!
Hiring in SF feels exactly like being a guy on a dating app.
Everyone you want is out of your league. Everyone in your league wants someone out of theirs.
You pay for a “booster” (aka a recruiter) that gets you more visibility but still 0 conversion.
So eventually you convince yourself the 2/10 has “great personality” and “a lot of potential.”
I genuinely don’t understand what these men want. This guy married my cousin just a few months ago. They seemed so in love, and he appeared to be the greenest flag ever. Yesterday, my coworker told me she matched w someone on tinder & asked me to come with her on her first date cause she was nervous. I said yes. While we were both waiting for the guy, he showed up, and it was my cousin’s husband. I was completely shocked. I confronted him right there in front of my coworker, saying he’s married and that his wife is five months pregnant. He told everyone that he was out of town on the new year but he lied. And this guy had the audacity to say: “Please don’t tell her. I’ve been depressed because of the lack of physical intimacy. She’s pregnant, and I’m just not attracted to her anymore. If I cheat again, then you can tell her.”.......I’m traumatized.

Getting big no longer means getting slow.
A silver lining in the Mamdani win -- a lot of very smart, hard-working, wealthy people are about to leave New York City.
They will take their money and talents to states and cities that appreciate them.
This will be net-positive for the US.
