So this time last week I was speaking to a friend of mine who has been trading for 7 years.
Was generally lamenting about another blown account and how I'm so close to giving up.
He said something to me that completely changed the way I see the market and trading as a whole...
After 3-4 years...
You start winning.
You start getting money.
You start feeling invincible.
Don't get cocky.
Don't get greedy.
Don't get impatient.
The market is always ready to humble you.
Keep going.
I stopped trusting other people's signals above my own analysis.
TP or SL, be in charge of your trade.
That's the only way you can break it down after to know what should stay, what should go, and what should evolve.
As a man still building his life you should not be dating any type of woman. ๐ญ
Focus on building first.
Davido don drop the hint already
"Love is sweet oo, WHEN MONEY ENTER LOVE IS SWEETER!"
So you people that have been in this thing for 4 years, 5 years, 7+ years, how are you still sane?
I'm barely a good 12 months into being a forex trader and it feels like I'm down to my last 2 brain cells courtesy of XAU ๐ญ
You see your setup in 3 different pairs, but the one you pick is the one that will now hit SL ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐
Moral lesson: take all your setups and apply risk management.
You see that saying
"When it clicks, you'll forget how long it took"
They lied.
I remember everything it took to get here,
And it has me more grateful than ever. ๐๐พ
