I still vividly remember the moment everything I had built over the years collapsed. The day every part of my life fell apart simultaneously.
My life got formatted and everything that I had carefully crafted just crumbled before my own eyes. A fundamental reconstruction, a total overhaul of everything I knew happened in the blink of an eye. In that moment, everything I had built my identity on melted through my fingers. My soul died!
For three months, I have been facing the chaos of transformation. This has not happened in isolation. I have experienced unconditional love, and unreserved support. Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and can’t seem to know who I am anymore! The bitter/sweet part of all this is that I will never be the same again. I have experienced pure sisterhood and I got to experience firsthand the true meaning of unreserved support. In the chaos of fundamental change, I have learnt to love more and in many aspects, I am different.
Caught up with my old friends and legendary Boxers back in the 90s and early 2000s in our sweet old Kololo High School.
Reminiscing the those times, when Ugandan Boxing was a brotherhood.

BRILLIANT!
Give Frederick Joshua Mpanga his flowers!
⚖️🇺🇬🌟👏🏽
I set aside some time to watch Mr. Mpanga display a cool, calm, and collected demeanour with a wise, tactful, straightforward, and firmly professional approach during his masterful cross-examination of the Chief State Attorney/Prosecutor Joseph Kyomuhendo.
Mr. Mpanga is truly an exceptional legal mind. As a partner at AF Mpanga Advocates (@AFMpangaUG) and Head of the firm’s Intellectual Property & Real Estate departments, he showed exactly why he’s one of #Uganda’s top advocates. He was prepared, precise, and always one step ahead.
A textbook masterclass in cross-examination. Law students (and practising lawyers) should watch and learn.

Today (Feb-24) marks 44 years since Milton Obote's soldiers stormed Rubaga Cathedral on February 24, 1982.
Armed men stormed the Cathedral during an Ash Wednesday Mass, went up to the altar and ordered the priests to stop praying while pointing guns at them.

@Eng_china5 One girl’s courage in 1983 turned into homes for 22,000 people. Proof that sometimes the smallest voices can echo the loudest, and change the shape of a city. Her mother will be very proud of her
One of the world’s most famous impostors was Frank Abagnale, whose life inspired the film Catch Me If You Can. He successfully posed as a pilot, a lawyer, and even a medical professional—yet at his core he was simply a master of deception. The man you are watching in this video makes Abagnale look like a novice when it comes to imposture. How he managed to convince great minds such as @miriamatembe is, just mind-boggling. Thank God many sawthrough his lies-Yet, as the saying goes, time has a way of catching up with everyone—no performance, however polished, lasts forever
Salva Kiir, and other presidents in his category, are an interesting demonstration of how power works. Maybe at some earlier point, his power depended on his real influence in SPLA. The question now is: In his current state, since he can’t even chase and catch a lame tortoise, how come he still controls a country? How is he still able to control coercive forces of the state to keep opponents in check?
Simple, with longevity in power, a wide network of people benefitting from the president is inevitably and strategically created. At the center of the network often is family. These will ensure that he stays, because his exit might not only mean their exit but also death, exile or imprisonment. If they can’t replace him in the current odds, they would keep such a president there at all costs, even if he loses memory that he is alive. In Kiir and Biya’s current state, I think the handlers now simply tell them: ‘Put on these clothes and we go’ (Yambala zino engoye tukutwaale). Because telling them where they’re going no longer makes sense.
“Go to Gaza we'll Genocide you..”
Israeli tourists in Sri Lanka harassed Alex Monaco for playing Palestinian song.
Some like to compare Israel to Nazi germany but the difference is Israelis are proud of doing genocide, there is no shame or pretence.
It is deeply troubling that we were asked to seek “clearance” simply to access the home of President @HEBobiwine — a private residence that is now effectively under siege. In any democratic society, a citizen’s home is not a military installation requiring permission to enter.

As more details emerge about the atrocities carried out by Museveni’s security operatives during the 2026 elections, one painful truth becomes impossible to ignore: the road to restoring this country will be long, difficult, and deeply demanding.
The events surrounding the Mukono North parliamentary election stand as a chilling example. The declared winner, Kiwanuka Abdallah, did not simply contest an election — he survived what many describe as a campaign of terror. He was physically assaulted. His home was vandalized. Threats against his life were issued. Most devastating of all, his son was shot and killed.
Reports indicate that he was warned he would be murdered and that only by remaining at the tally center did he avoid a similar fate. Yet despite the gravity of these events — the violence, the loss of life, the climate of fear — no one has been held accountable.
This is the reality many point to when they speak of Museveni’s Uganda: a nation where elections are overshadowed by bloodshed, intimidation, and impunity.
