@Mglsd_UG@BettyAmongiMP@Parliament_Ug@JoelSsenyonyi please investigate the working conditions of workers at PRAMUKH STEEL UGANDA. This is a steel fabricating company in jinja Kayunga road . A lot is happening at this company right from recruiting to working conditions and safety of the workers. It has come to my notice that employees at this company are working in harsh conditions yet little pay.
First and foremost employees are not recorded in the company system, so whatever happens to you the company is less concerned. On top of that, the working hours are not followed ,for one to live his working station, he has to wait for another one for the next shift. For example, if one worked day, he doesn't live until the one working night has come because the company machines don't stop.
Despite working in a place of high temperatures, employees have limited access to drinking water and they have to pay for the water whereby each employee is deducted 500Ugshs from the 7000Ugshs they earn daily of which 1000 UgShs is deducted for lunch ( a slice of posho and bean). And on pay day ( employees are paid weekly)each employee is deducted NSSF money and it's by force they're told they will have access to their money after 50 years.
Once an employee falls into the hot furnace and dies, those around or who have witnessed are bribed up to 500,000/= to keep silent. Most of the workers here are from Northern Uganda.
There is no safety and the working conditions are not favorable yet little pay. Something has to be done.
Am ready to bring evidence and employees testifying. I came in peace
Seven years is a long time.
Today marks seven years since the disappearance of John-Bosco Kibalama.
It must be incredibly difficult for the Kibalama family, especially the children.
I must admit that not a day goes by when I don't think of them, and every day it feels just as raw as the day before.
I know itโs not enough, but I ask myself, what shall we say when his children start asking questions?
On 2nd February 2023, during the Prime Ministerโs Time in Parliament, Robinah Nabbanja stated that Kibalama was not missing, but was instead in the hands of security officers, being questioned in connection with an incident involving the shooting of police officers.
Seven years later, Prime Minister Nabbanja has yet to tell the country exactly where Mr Kibalama is.
Several calls for accountability have been made, all falling on deaf ears.
In September 2024, the case of the missing of 18 was dismissed.
People do not simply vanish into thin air.
While there are no known leads regarding the whereabouts of many of them, the Prime Minister herself publicly indicated that the government knows where at least one of them is.
Seven years later, his children still do not know where their father is.
Seven birthdays. Seven Christmases. Seven New Years, and seven school years without knowing where their dad is or whether he is even alive.
His family deserves answers. His children deserve closure. We deserve accountability.
If the government knows where John-Bosco Kibalama is, then the time for silence has long passed.
The demand remains simple:
Produce him before the courts of law or tell the country where he is.

When we speak they say we are hooligans, we don't give respect to abebitibwa. With all the grievances in Buganda it's so sad that the kingdom is behind and in support of everything.
WE ARE ON OUR OWN.

Hon. Namugga Gorreth has added her voice to many Ugandans calling for the release of those jailed over their political beliefs. This is not about political parties, but about justice and human rights. We continue to demand freedom for our brothers and sisters who remain behind bars simply for expressing their views.

If you fail to raise this concern then ๐ค๐
When you see foreigners or their agents being appointed into key positions,
when you see relatives and close friends taking over important roles,
when the army chief tries to outshine the elected leaders in public life,
and when strange or wrong things become normal without anyone questioning themโ
then you understand what Dr. Kizza Besigye meant when he said: โlisten carefully to what is happening.
A few days after Gen. Mbadi was removed as CDF, the military activated a provision that grants the CDF powers that were previously reserved for the Commander-in-Chief, who is the President. This marked the first significant step in consolidating Muhoes transition.
Today, Muhoes has the power to promote and demote officers, authority that none of his predecessors possessed. At the same time, active generals who are not aligned with the transition process have either been forcibly retired or reassigned to civilian roles. This has effectively distanced them from military command structures and weakened both their military influence and political ambitions.
Another Rwandan in our army the updf Felix Busizoori infantry commander in Gulu. He commanded the beating of HE Bobi wine on his campaign visit to Gulu. 2nd m7 posted him there to oversee the resettlement of Balalo in northern Uganda & lastly he designed the Karamoja massacre
Dear Gen @KagutaMuseveni
Since Ugandans were brutalized, abducted, and some lost their lives during the election period, and the results were declared without full public trust or transparency, we now call for justice and accountability.
It is time to release all political prisoners and allow families to reunite in peace.
MY OPEN LETTER TO THE OWEKITIBWA LEADER OF OPPOSITION AND THE ENTIRE MPs OF THE NATIONAL UNITY PLATFORM
Dear Hon. @JoelSsenyonyi
I am writing to you on behalf of many concerned Ugandans who feel deeply disappointed and betrayed by the recent position taken by the opposition.
During the election period, our party the @NUP_Ug strongly and publicly declared that the 2026 elections were not free and fair, but a rigged process and a military operation rather than a genuine democratic exercise. Many Ugandans stood with you and believed in your principled stance against the irregularities.
However, it is now clear that you have accepted the outcome and agreed to take the position of Leader of Opposition, effectively recognizing President Museveni as the legitimate winner. This sudden change of position has left a large section of the population feeling abandoned and demoralized.
We want to make our position very clear: the immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners must now be your number one priority. These are our brothers and sisters who have been detained for exercising their political rights. Their freedom cannot be negotiable or pushed to the back burner while you settle into parliamentary roles.
We therefore give you and the opposition leadership an ultimatum of two (2) months from today to secure the release of all political prisoners. If this is not achieved within this period, many of us will have no choice but to conclude that the opposition no longer represents the will and aspirations of the suffering Ugandan people.
We expect decisive leadership and action on this matter. The people are watching.
