@LabMuffin Hey Michelle, have you seen this development: https://t.co/1tCg91794t

🚨Meltdown by Axios CEO Jim VandeHei.
VandeHei goes on a rant about Elon telling X users “You are the media now”. "My message to Elon Musk is b*llshlit. You're not the media!"
Two things are going on which are triggering Jim VandeHei
1) He is losing audience, his revenue is in decline and his business model is failing.
2) They are furious that X users (with a much larger audience) are able to so easily destroy the fake narratives the legacy "news" media pushes.
People like Jim VandeHei used to be able to gatekeep on what is news and what the "facts" are. But they lost their credibility with years of lying, Now with people on X able to expose the lies, it is driving them crazy.
@simonateba@ATT Yup, even the DNA of the customers has been revealed, sure 🤣
Get you act together, man, and get properly educated and informed about the intricate technical details before start rampaging...
I have pictures of lipoproteins on my walls in the office (your pictures). We only use the word lipoproteins - while I point at the wall. Perhaps once or twice to each patient I’ve explained that cholesterol is a smaller molecule that rides in the larger lipoproteins and that the easiest way to guesstimate your amount of low-density lipoproteins is to measure the amount of cholesterol in those particles and “effectively” extrapolate.
When we say LDL-Cholesterol, the word Cholesterol is there because it is basically the “meter stick” of how we measure. Non-believers are free to spend a few hundred bucks getting an NMR analysis and an LDL-Particle Number or get a simple ApoB. After seeing the image 1-2 times, we try not to ever use the generic phrases “bad cholesterol/good cholesterol” again.
People are smart. They understand.
