When major decisions are being made at City Hall, you deserve a Mayor who is on your side.”

Raising my family in Santa Clara, I know firsthand what our residents are facing, from rising utility bills to the need for safer neighborhoods and thriving local businesses.

I’m running for Mayor because Santa Clara needs leadership willing to tackle tough issues while never losing sight of the people who make this city such a special place to call home.

"Santa Clara needs a Mayor that is small business friendly. My business taxes and fees have gone from $35 to over $500 per year." — Kim Ransier, Owner of Sunshine Dry Cleaning & Alterations

When local shops thrive, Santa Clara thrives. I am running for Mayor to bring business experience, lower small-business taxes, speed up permits, and put our community first.

Vote David Kertes for Santa Clara Mayor on November 3rd!

Behind every thriving community are two things: safe, engaging places for our kids to grow up, and a local government that respects the people and businesses funding it. As a local coach and parent, my focus is simple, invest in our families and build a stronger future for Santa Clara:

🌟 Giving Our Youth Better Opportunities: Creating safe weekend spaces for teens, improving local parks and year-round pools, and opening up more sports and STEM programs for all our kids.

🏛️ Bringing Real Accountability to City Hall: Protecting residents from runaway utility hikes, cutting through the red tape that slows down our small businesses, and keeping taxpayers first.

We can support our families and run a smart, accountable city at the same time.

I answer to Santa Clara residents, not 49ers ownership. I’m not bought, sponsored, or controlled by special interests. I’m the only candidate who will tackle the tough issues for you. I enjoy football games and wish success to all our local teams. I'm the candidate who's on your side.
