America is at critical moment in our history as we're handling crisis - both the coronavirus pandemic and the civil unrest caused by George Floyd's murder. I'm going to take a look at the 1906 San Francisco earthquake to see what we can learn about managing crisis.

The main two things that I learned is that in the SF crisis, people were altruistic with one another - yet the action of media and elites in some ways often held back the community from rebuilding.
